Wilder with the win in the end but it'll do him no favours and just makes Joshua the bigger favourite now, Ortiz didn't have the power or more importantly the reach to get the power to knock Wilder out. Cut the ring off well, cornered Wilder, worked some good shots and done well to keep to the right of Wilder's leading foot making his right hand harder to connect. Should have ended the fight but obviously didn't have enough in him to do it, fair play to Wilder the man has a chin and can take some big hits. I've said from the beginning that I think Joshua will win and Ortiz has set up a blueprint today in how to push Wilder to the edge. Joshua vs WIlder, Joshua to win via TKO after a crashing right hand and a left upper cut with Wilder against the ropes.
  2. I didn't say it was fact, all I said was your best Summer signing has already failed to compete at a higher level, i.e. at Spurs. Sandro and Klassen were massively inspiring signings? So much so that most people on here didn't think you'd strengthened enough to compete with the top 6. Or was Michael Keane also an inspiring signing? You signed a host of players that haven't really achieved much, you're sitting 6 points off of 7th place. What more could you reasonably expect this season because you were never going to be challenging the top 6.
  3. The rest of my post? The part where I said Allardyce has always struggled to achieve much more than midtable? Or the part where I said you are essentially performing at a level expected of oi considering the last 20 years? I'm sure Sigurdsson will turn out exactly like Paulinho
  4. Honestly don't know where Everton expect to be at the moment, best Summer signing was a player not good enough for Spurs. Two of the other "big" signings have now been sent out on loan but also were hardly massively inspiring and they went and replaced Koeman with a manager who's renowned for finishing midtable and not being able to deliver much more. If the owners are serious then there needs to be a big revamp in the Summer otherwise this is just the same Everton that has been for the past two decades.

I like Eddie Hearn but this Kel Brook malarkey is one of the most Hearnish things you'll see. Two broken eye sockets, two damaging losses...Hearn knows how to market a fight. Dont see the fuss myself, Brook's not really that entertaining as a fighter for me and seemed so static against Errol Spence Jr which was weird as he was trying to dance around Golovkin. Seems a very come forward, elbows up and exchange sort of fighter.
  6. I'd expect Arsenal to be AC Milan, Serie A has two very good teams in Napoli and Juventus but the further down you go the quality drops off a cliff. It was only last season I believe that Inter were struggling against Southampton.

Sydneys stadium locations are a joke, in Melbourne it's all central and linked by train and tram. In Sydney you have to get a train to the Olympic stadium from Central Station and even then it's a specially designated train because on the way back you have to swap lines at some random station. The cricket ground/Allianz Stadium doesn't even have public transport to it other than a bus. No Couldn't afford it mate unfortunately, had to bring NZ forward by a week
  8. I don't get the hate to Conte for the Costa malarkey, if he wants to leave then send him on his way. Who other than Morata could have replaced Costa in the Summer?

Yeah it is Sporting mad, weird State of Origin gets that much yet the Storm aren't massively followed
  10. Is two weeks enough? We're a country that gets one decent snowfall as a whole once a millennium, I imagine it's too expensive to get equipment in needed to deal with it for a one off.

I used to think it was weird but grew accustomed to it, but cities out here are a bit different to home. London for example it's all spread. Melbourne is a city of nearly 5 million so expected really to have a wide range of sport, similar to London.

I liked Perth, not so much the city but the beaches were nice and the area was laid back. Fremantle' a nice trip and Northbridge/CBD had some nice bars/food. Yeah I went to Melbourne before for a long weekend and loved it, at the time still preferred Sydney but the food and drink available in Melbourne sways me.
  13. It was about 28-30 degrees and sunny in Melbourne yesterday. About 24 degrees and rainy/cloudy in Auckland but the humidity is keeping things warm. You know you've spent ages out of the UK when 24 degrees isn't considered hot.

    Rugby League

Eddie Hearn in talks with the RFL, potential involvement with the sport. Thoughts? Could be great for the sport, especially with the potential inclusions of more North American sides. For the sport to be a contender with Union it needs to have more impact in the South, couldn't even tell an England got to a World Cup final through the online British media coverage.
  16. 100% if your wing backs were better you'd be better, Moses ain't good enough. Whats happening with Roman, not bankrolling the transfer funds for you anymore? You seem to be a bit more frugal these days

It doesn't help that America is a "first world country" that is also a "third world country" in its own right. You couldn't compare the US to Switzerland for example. Its a shame it's taken so long for the discussion on gun control to get this far, and it's a shame that it's taken an assault on middle class white America as blacks and latinos in ghettos have struggled with the use of guns within their communities for decades. Guns aren't the sole problem, mental health issues that on a large scale will never be addressed anytime soon, extreme poverty that shapes kids and pushes them into gangs, the complete lack of restriction in a lot of places around the states on them. Police being armed when that clearly does not benefit poverty stricken communities. There are many factors at play but I think all of them come with at least one similar solution and that's less guns, much less guns.

The problem with America is that it is so open and large that one state can ban guns but they can easily be smuggled from elsewhere.
  19. You're such a boring side to watch, not sure if it's because of the dimensions at Stamford Bridge but then again Highbury never held Arsenal back. You could do with a flair player or two

That seems mad that you just get sent into a class to teach straight off the bat, as has been mentioned I guess you have a book to go from. Obviously you speaking Spanish would make it easier for them, but do they already have a good English knowledge or is it beginners stuff? And a grand or so a month doesn't sound bad, but how do you get that if the hours are so little?

So do you act as a teaching assistant or actually teach classes? What ages do you teach? What's the hours/money situation with it like? Sorry about the inquest Just contemplating it after going to New Zealand, just hope Brexit don't fuck it up

Yeah, be interesting to see how Groves recovers. He's still young but also he's been in a few wars over the years so his bodies had a fair bit of wear and tear. That's the problem with these tournaments in boxing, one injury and the final is potentially a non-starter.
