  1. And that team got hammered by Barce and Bayern, was just luck of the draw for it to finally come off for Chelsea after all those years of playing defensive football.
  2. If it's not I hope Abdi doesn't get deported, we need more people like him
  3. Had they of gone out to someone like Juve or Barce it'd be a more acceptable loss, but they shouldn't be losing to Juve. Mourinho clearly feels he's bigger/better than United and is quite happy to give the club shit in defence of himself to media etc.
  4. What do you expect from a young centre back in his first full season playing for the club exactly?

NRL highlights from the weekend so far..
  6. Fair point but footballing terms there's no question about it.
  7. Why would you want to stay at Everton when you could go to Sevilla?

Weirdly drinking Lucozade always made my asthma play up, had to drink the orange one which is actually the best.

It clearly says on the bottle not to be used to hydrate if you have the shits, doctors used to prescribe Guinness to people but that turned out to be a myth as well. With that said I loved Lucozade, me dad used to buy a bottle of it during the week and it'd be treat. Get a glass or two to yourself and you were buzzing

Anyone ever had an interview and also needed to shit? Honestly so close to shitting myself whilst explaining what I could improve on haha
  11. Yeah, that's literally it. He was accused, wasn't found guilty and everyone moves on.
  12. I am chilled mate, but your discussion is idiotic. You can't create an environment of trust and openness if people who are abused are at risk of being reprimanded and demonised because they're not sure it will be proven at trial.
  13. Some absolute whoppers in here, just because an accusation hasn't been proven doesn't mean they were lying. Have some common sense and take your rose tinted glasses off.
  14. Bellerin needs to sort his suspect defending out before moaning about managers.
  15. Hazard would walk in ahead of Mane no doubt about that. He's easily one of the best players in the league and has the league titles to prove it, but there is some truth to what MadLad is saying and considering the goalscoring form of someone like Harry Kane over the last few years or Sergio Aguero so calling him the out and out best player in the league is off. That player is currently in North West London.

Yet he's come up against two great fighters now and been stopped against both, fair play he did jump up to middleweight and you have to respect him for that but a loss is still a loss and that's two against the elite in two separate weight classes. He may win a belt at 154 but I don't think he'll beat Spence, his eye sockets will probably go again and it's not just that, Spence turned it up in the final rounds and Brook was struggling. He may give a better account at 154 but I think Spence will win again. Brook vs Khan could have been a great match up for them both, it's a shame that they didn't go at it before when it was wanted because now it's nothing more than one of their final big pay cheques.
  17. I'd expect Cech to go to America/Australia/Asia at the end of the season. It's interesting with Wenger because there's no doubt that his time is coming to an end, whilst he has had great success in recent years winning 3 FA Cups he and the club haven't been able to sustain actual competition for the title and have in the league regressed to where they are now. He deserves massive respect from his early stint as in his first 9 years at the club they won 7 major trophies and created a side that was dominant at national level and made a Champions League final appearance. Unfortunately the FA Cup isn't held with much prestige anymore but the complete lack of competition in the league and Europe over the last 5 years at least means that something has gone drastically wrong as the money has obviously been there at the club. But he is undoubtedly Arsenal's greatest ever manager regardless of how bad things have been since 2005 and he should be given a proper send off, the last time Arsenal won 9 major trophies in a 9 year period was back in the 30s and everything since was about 2-3 trophies every 10-20 years.
  18. Watched Irish beat Worcester last weekend, mad how bad they've been this season but I've never come to expect much more. Didn't watch the Wasps game but sounds like the better team lost which means if survival was a bit of a pipe dream before this match then relegation is all but gaurenteed now. Mad to see how having your own stadium can do so much for a club yet so many have struggled for years.

There are a lot of good reasons to be in New Zealand, but currently number one is that unlike Australia the KFC doesn't taste like lumps of salt have been poured all over it. So fucking good.
  20. All that bloody snow... Was trying to upload a picture of a beach but this website is shit so you can keep the snow

    Rugby League

NRL kicks off this Thursday where St. George host the Broncos and I believe James Graham should be making a debut unless injured? 10pm kick off time here in Auckland, 9am Thursday morning for you lot. Friday Newcastle host Manly where Mitchell Pearce will make his debut for the Knights and on Sunday Jaryd Hayne gets to make his debut since signing for Parra again against Penrith. Penrith/Parra should be entertaining.

Yeah Wilder took a bit of a beating there and managed to stay up, Wilder was explosive but when Ortiz boxed him and didn't trade punches he was getting the better of him. Ortiz didn't have an uppercut in that fight, Wilder leaves himself open for it and Joshua as seen has an explosive uppercut. Joshua can get to work on Wilder a few ways, can't see much more than an AJ win. Thought Wilder could have used his jab more, stopped hitting Ortiz regularly in the hope he could pull out a proper right hand.
