  1. There is no chance Toney gets 100m in a market which is over saturated with striker links. Solanke Watkins Isak Ferguson These are just the premier league targets thrown around. I see 50m is a top out for Toney. If we move Wilson and Almiron on Mbuemo interests me.
  2. I saw a sky news article that liverpool will be letting Matip and Thiago go. I actually thought Thiago had already go, talk about a passenger.
  3. VAR and rule implementation has done the most harm. They made rules to stop the coaches talking with each other during a game but there seems to be no common sense with the rules itself. This has caused the bigger controversy. Since money has come into the game, teams with more have always dominated. Had man united and chelsea been run better there would have been 5 teams sticking it out. What is needed now is rules that encourage investment into the other 14ish clubs that can raise their competitiveness, however the septic 6 wont allow it.
  4. Grealish and Rashford haven't been good and would amount to nothing more than a gormless Gareth style pick with that old tired line of "they have done it before". Saka is pretty self explanatory and while Bowen has had a great season, Cole Palmer is out of this world and should be the second option. On the left side Gordon has been the best player compared to Southgates normal selections, Eze has put his name into the hat lately and there is that "Foden" plays out wide thing which would diminish most of Foden's skill sets. With Foden and Palmer you get flexibility in AM and on the flanks. I don't see Trippier being selected, he got injured in November tried playing through the injury and got worse, he has sat 2 months out and came back overweight and well out of the pace of the game, this is a chance to look at something else at LB
  5. The game was a newcastle season in a nutshell and why I think a defensive overhaul is necessary. https://www.sofascore.com/newcastle-united-manchester-united/DYBe#tab:details Sofascore will show we should have beaten man united easily by a combination of a flakey defence, VAR and saves on the line, big blocks we ended up losing yet again on the road. Xg had the game scored at 1.42 vs 2.48. I can see three players off to Saudi arabia in the summer, trippier, almiron and wilson are going to be in the desert next season. The only positive is Lewis Hall is very good, Joelinton is nearing his best and Anthony Gordon is fantastic.
  6. My problem with Brightons model is that it is built for constant turnover and not success. I believe Bloom is a Mike Ashley with 200IQ and wants to profit off the club rather than actually be successful. I dont think this can be pinned on De Zerbi, they have missed Ferguson and Mitomo a long time now and they lost Solly Marsch early and Estupinan, all key players.
  7. Pole Position - Which driver will post the fastest lap in Q3 AFTER MAX VERSTAPPEN IS REMOVED FROM THE RESULTS? Norris Podium - Which drivers will finish the Grand Prix in the top three positions AFTER MAX VERSTAPPEN IS REMOVED FROM THE RESULTS? 1. Norris 2. Perez 3. Sainz Random Driver - Predict the finishing position of this week's random driver, Nico Hulkenberg. 11th Bonus Question - I've selected 8 drivers - Perez, Sainz, Piastri, Stroll, Ricciardo, Magnussen, Gasly and Sargeant - that are trailing their team-mates in the world championship so far. Tip one of these drivers to finish ahead of their team-mate on Sunday and if they do it, you will receive 5 points. Sainz
  8. Been trying to find follow up on the pursuit of Dougie Freedman.
  9. City have also pushed teams to be better, I know we dont have any chance of replicating what city have done due to the financial rules, but the ambition is to get to that level. This season had three teams with Spurs and villa keeping pace, sadly liverpool had a fanny wobble at the wrong time, it's part of the game. I dont begrudge city winning, they are a good team, they still need to finish the job though and it is up to Arsenal to put pressure on them.
  10. I have a feeling Duran Duran was what everyone was waiting for.
  11. It's only a matter of time before Chelsea sell their fans homes to raise funds
  12. The past few days have marked Yom Ha'zikaron or Yom HaZikaron LeHalelei Ma'arkhot Yisrael ul'Nifge'ei Pe'ulot HaEivah, the day of remembrance for those that fell in defence and victims of conflict. It also marks the day of independence. A good conversation between and israeli and a palastinian that ends in agreement. Hope still lingers.
  13. At 3-1 it does sting a bit. Everyone looks like they 2ant the beach
