First time playing football today in what has been months, before Christmas. Have missed playing to be honest
  3. Sadly these changes talked about at the start of last year are due to be accepted and ratified https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56573883 A great safety net for the likes of Liverpool, Man Utd & Chelsea if they have a shit time of it domestically, knowing they can potentially qualify through a wildcard option in to this competition. A slap in the face to any club that wants to try and make a name for themselves or become established like those big clubs that once had success in the competition. Elite football's door slowly closes to anyone not already in that select group of teams. The marketability of football overrides the importance of competition and underdog stories or a smaller club wanting to break the glass ceiling, now, sadly.
  4. They may do, but perhaps at a slower rate than we've seen throughout the last 12 months. The important thing isn't just case numbers like last year. Cases can go up but if the vaccine continues to prevent serious illness/hospitalisation and burden on NHS services, then I'd think it doesn't (technically) matter. And with vaccine numbers continuing to rise - I know supply is reducing over the next few weeks for some reason - hopefully cases continue to level out or better still, decrease.
  5. Got a feeling it'll be towards end of May/start of June I get mine
  6. The Suez Canal can breathe again. #NatureIsHealing

Saying you broke your Roast virginity led to a legit surprise moment!

If that's the case then fair enough, I might have jumped the gun I knew it was too good to be true! @Lucas seems a guy of fine taste so that's why I was so surprised that he might not have had one before!

Sorry but what the actual fuck. I believe we're of similar age and I am abso-fucking-lutely stunned you have not had a roast before today?!

Very tense finish to the ODIs there. Great series and what a match to finish. I have no nails left. I can't wait for the reverse series. Two world class sides with world class individuals on show.
  11. Have they said anything about these expenses or Home Office spending? Is it something they would look in to? The Home Office tweeting about fact-checking themselves was unusual, too? Surely they just leave that up to the audit office if this is what they are responsible for doing?
  12. I didn't mean now What worries me is that if it turns out there was some seriously shady and dodgy stuff going on, why is no-one vetting them or checking anything now? Why does it have to wait for an inquiry in to it, whenever it may be? Not a great look for a government department to not be clear and transparent...
  13. Is this the ship in the Suez canal?
  14. Maybe, but it'll be good to see what comes of any inquiry, if there is one. That's when they will have to prove what they've done and if it was done in a legitimate way. It's public money being spent. Therefore, whichever government would be in place, the public deserve to know what's spent and how it is done so.
  15. Must be great for some of those younger ones to be driving on the same tracks as drivers they saw growing up too. Must feel quite humbling for the older drivers too if they know they've played a part as inspiration for the younger drivers to take up and succeed in the sport...
  16. If anyone needs any idea of how corrupt our government have been in the midst of a pandemic...
  17. British expats in Spain who voted Brexit getting kicked out of Spain after having their applications to remain there getting getting rejected. Funny.
  18. Vettel was definitely the class clown at school with a grin like that. Pranking teachers and kids alike.
  19. Cos the ships are meant to go straight through and not turn around in those parts...?
  20. They've kept the old canal open but I doubt it was for if something like this ever happened. So ships can go through but still at a much slower rate apparently. I wonder what kind of cargo is on that Ever Given ship or what's being blocked either side because they're too far through and can't go back...
