I think if I were you guys I'd be absolutely fuming that the rival party can't serve up an electable candidate to deliver the well earned punishment the current government deserves... Corbyns like he's the dummy candidate a dictator would appoint as his opposition just to give people a pretend choice at the election.

It should be for the most outstanding and important player. Messi had obviously been very much that but VVD was pivotal also, and his natural calm is hugely important to the mental strength of the team. If Messi doesn't win it it'll be because Barca were seen to fall down in important games, and I think some responsibility rests with the captain when that occurs.

The most recent memories of what the players are doing taints perception though. If Liverpool haven't kept a single clean sheet in their first 15 games I'll bet vvd doesn't win.

From what I've seen in the US the approach does seem to use different language depending on which side of politics (and media) is doing the talking. There's universal condemnation, but the language used and root causes suggested differ. In Australia its pretty concensus politically and in the media to be written up as right wing terrorism and lack of control of firearms.

You really feel this is the case? Maybe in the Murdoch press but more generally the western left of centre media rush to take up the role of flag bearers in this type of area...

I think we should let migs go also tbh. He's a solid goalkeeper at a club with less pressure and expectation than Liverpool. He's also a confidence player, do being in the sidelines is not a good arrangement to get the best out of him.

Who knows how things may have intertwined from all that though? If he was at sea because of the doping thing and it totally threw him off I can see him feeling it was more than just a cup final missed.

I'm pretty sure we were paying him a salary consistent with being our first choice right back. I'd rather we got rid and replaced him with a backup RB that has a higher likelihood of being physically fit on a given day.
