  1. I still don't fully grasp this conflict. Is it just about the US stepping in to kneecap the second biggest player in the middle east to preserve the status quo? What actual threat do Iran pose, and why is Trump happy to meet with Kim but take such a different approach here?
  2. I thought that was lame tbh. Liverpool does have an enormous following in Australia, so many people who wish they could be more a part of the club, but still I just eyerolled at that.
  3. We're you impressed by Brewster? Does he look ready? In other news did anyone hear about the saga with Daniel Sturridges dog getting stolen from his apartment in LA? It's had a happy ending but half of Instagram were in a meltdown about the safety and well-being of his dog for 2 days. Ultimately the online buzz resulted in a finder contacting Dani to return the dog... And since then he's been dog photo spamming everyone. A lovely good news story in the end.
  4. He'll play but it's a crowded midfield with everyone fit. I'd rank him 5th in our midfield behind fabinho, Hendo, Gini and Keita and ahead of Milner. And that feels harsh but also harsh on Milner... Bottom line is that's a deep but very even midfield...
  5. There'd also be a danger to the EU if they caves to a deal that was sweeter to the UK... Although it will hurt the EU to lose the UK they will also consolidate their remaining nations of things go very badly for the UK in leaving.

    Looking On fleek mate!
  7. Mate on that home stretch we ground out wins with a good few in shaky fashion where City were making it look easy, despite being the ones out in front with added pressure. We also got a chunk more luck than City with a few major games won in fortunate circumstances, such as Origi's goal against Everton. We're still a good chance of winning but I think City should rightly start the season as favorites.
  8. Your consistency came alot more naturally than ours last year. We should be up there but I'm expecting you guys will win it more comfortably next year.
  9. Murder mystery. Solid 7.5/10 for me. Great watch for a couple. It's the second quite good Adam Sandler movie I've seen direct on Netflix. Good enough to be seeing at the movies on a date night so not sure why Sandler is using this method for his films now.
  10. I'm not suggesting its an easy job to replace him for fucks sakes. I just think we have an incredibly solid system right now, like Arsenal had under wenger, like Dortmund under Klopp or Barcelona under Pep where the players collectively are greater than the sum of their individual parts. I'm not saying we don't have shit hot players, only giving credit to just how good klopps system is, that I think the attack is multifaceted and doesn't hinge on Salah to the extent that his goal output would lead you to believe.
  11. Ultimately I just don't see Salah being on the same level as Suarez or Torres or Gerrard or VanDijk as irreplaceable players. That's all I was saying So in summary yeah, what you said, sell him for a fuckload, which I also said, or keep him because he's a great performer that fits the system really well. In any case I give very significant credit for salahs success to the system Klopp implemented and I think the attack is in a position of being less reliant on irreplaceable players than it used to.
  12. I'm a fan of Salah but I'd be slightly open to the possibility of selling him if we could extract major dollars. He fits the system well but has a bit of a tendency to be selfish with his chances that for me could become a problem. I think it's something he could work on that would make him a much better player.... In any case like Coutinho I don't see him as irreplaceable. That said I'd rather keep him and make the point that we don't sell players we want to keep.
  13. Totally agree. In previous years we have been quite decisive in the market whereas this year there hadn't been any really credible links of players that could seriiously improve our Matchday squad in the coming season
  14. Guys the Eto'o comment is from one loose dude. So let's not go sharpening the fuck Barca knives just yet... If they are going for Neymar and Griezmann it's unlikely they'd be thinking of Salah joining in the next 3 years...
  15. He's got small Dick syndrome and is an aspiring dictator. He'd never allow them to slip in the military. I remember reading he already wanted to get more nukes made when he heard Russia had a greater remaining nuclear Arsenal.
  16. Trump alleges he had an operation underway to strike multiple sites when he asked and was told that 150 people would die. Am I the only one staggered that: A) anyone in the American military would have put forward a mission that would kill 150 across 5 sites over a drone, and B) that Trump had already approved the operation and it had gotten underway before he asked the number of causalities?

  18. Why are you so convinced a war with Iran would escalate to such an extent?
  19. Don't be so quick to praise mate. He would have been torn apart if he'd bombed Iran for shooting down a UAV. This could be phase 1 of gaining public acceptance.
  20. It's weird there's a second or two cut from the video
  21. Trump has apparently ordered a strike on Iran but cancelled at the last minute because he's reluctant to start another conflict. It's been reported as him fudging his red line. Some possibilities as to what's at play: a. Trump's genuinely giving pause before rushing in b. He's looking to demonstrate a reluctance to appease the doubters. To create the appearance of him being pushed in by others or by an absolute necessity C. He's now counting on being goaded into it from being called weak by the media D. Option A. but with him eventually caving due to media pressure
  22. I believe Twitter gives the picture of what Trump himself would do in a world with zero checks and balances.
  23. Until they get some polling data about what people think, or Trump hears negative commentary about it on Fox
