simon harmer recalled after his exile playing as a Kolpak player.    We tour New Zealand next which will be a tough series but there is a lot of confidence in the team right now.

The ODI side is very exciting,  Van der Dussen and Bavuma have really forged an exciting middle order pair that we also hope carries over to test cricket.    Our current test side is a little light in the middle order now with QDK retiring,  Pietersen and Van der Dussen give optimism and then there is Dewald Brevis who is making a reputation for himself rather quickly.

Our bowling is rather solid,  we have about 6 good seamers to choose from and Mark Boucher has put focus on the teams ability to utilize spin better and play it better.

I'd say we have more than 6 seamers. But our batting is gash.

  2. The English political landscape seems kind of similar to Australia's.

Here's our situation, see if it's ringing any bells.

We have 2 major parties, a 'left' and 'right' (the left is really just centrist or mild social left, mild economic right. The right are just outright corporate sluts with no actual ethos or political direction)

The 'left' Labor, implement policies that are historically proven to work, and do so in aims to improve the country for everyone. They are genuinely trying to strengthen the nation, as it's the only way they can win elections and get re elected.

The 'right' Liberals/nationals coalition, are a bunch of whores, who implement policies that suit their corporate donors, fuck up any task given to them wildly, could genuinely be argued that they're acting so much in contrary to the need of the nation it amounts to treason at times, and use the Murdoch and local private media to smear any hint of weakness in Labor, and even outright just make things up, never needing to back it up. They consistently run through 1 term PMs because of gross incompetence and changing needs of uncle Rupert. They also love laughing at good labor policies and undermining them in the media, then implementing them 5-10 years later on because they were good ideas.

I don't have a problem with CM Punk winning to be honest.

AEW needs to stop trying to impress Meltzer, PWI and all these marks and put on better weekly shows. They havent capitalised on the buzz they had in the summer.

Bryan is money. And he's money because he's doing things the traditional way. No goofiness. Just a good wrestler, cutting good promos, with a good story to tell. Then backing it all up in ring.

I'd tune out if Cutler and the Bucks were on my tv too.

Some hate it but I love it when players have Blubbering sunflowers batting stances. I think it brings personality to the game, without it being stupid shit like sledging or having a sook

Graeme Smith, Shiv Chanderpaul, George Bailey represent

  5. Would be huge for England to win this one. After the 3rd test, and for most of the 4th you'd swear blind Australia were gonna win 5-0. 1 wicket away in Sydney, and if England get a win here, 3-1 looks MUCH better than a 5-0 drubbing (again). A gutsy 270 chase would restore some pride in the team and give the players something to build on.

  6. And it becomes a collapse.
    Burns run out for 0
Crawley gets a decent ball, but should have done better, either committing to a flick or used softer hands to defend.
Then England get a partnership going, 49 runs from 82 balls. Good strike rate, only 2 down, and rebuilding the innings.
Cue Malan giving his wicket away, with the horrible strangle down leg. Cue the collapse.
Root then goes trapped in front
Stokes then goes to a decent bit of fielding but poor batting.

Odds on Pope or Billings to be gone before tea? Or 2 more wickets this session? England looking at a sub 200 score. Sub 150 even.

  7. So far so bad for England again. Losing wickets at crucial times under no pressure. You can't win games when building a 50 partnership, you strangle a nothing delivery to the keeper down leg side for an easy wicket.

Fair play to SA. India never won there and that continues. Pujara and Rahane need to be dropped. They haven't offered anything this series, and Pujara struggled in England too. Time to give someone else a chance - while I love his patient attitude and approach, it doesn't really work much when you're not scoring or contributing either.

SA's bowling is and remains decent. Maybe we underestimated them. Rabada and Ngidi and very good. First time I've seen Jansen play and even he was productive.

I don't condone the slander of the broadcaster (as if they had much to do with it, but I think that particular thing went beyond the DRS decision), however it spoke volumes when even Erasmus said 'its impossible!' seeing the DRS too.

Took 19 wickets, at an average of 16. For me he was player of the series. Our Fast bowling battery is messed up. Easily best in the world in terms of depth. Olivier, Rabada, Nortje, Mulder, Ngidi, and now Jansen. An absolute handful, and all of them averaging low 20s for bowling average I believe.

We specialize in low scoring games. Can't score 400 on a road but will chase 200 on a minefield with little struggle. I think Rahane could go soon, but can't drop Pujara. Especially not on the back of a series where everyone who played 3 games struggled with the bat for India.
    Pant again proved he's special.

  9. Chad South Africa crush virgin India. 0 centuries scored. 0 300+ batting scores as a team. Just low scoring, bounce the cunts out cricket.

Then just say wanker. Those types aren’t exclusive to Australia

Just his sleeve wearing smoko try hard dickhead attitude. You'd find 8 white virats at any job site in the country.

I still don’t get what you mean by ‘Aussie’ and I never will

A wanker. Not the good kind. Think 'elevated tradie' or David Warner clone.

I like how he thinks it was the broadcaster that runs the video reviews. Kohli always had  a holier than thou attitude

Like I said, I fucking hate the rat cunt, but it's because he's so 'Aussie"
What has happened is pretty clear. India are the best in the world, and after beating England and Australia away, we're hoping to clean up SA without fuss. However, SA is a different beast, lots of fight in them and they're VERY good at winning low scoring games. They've banged India up and under pressure to win the decider, a big decision has gone against them and they've just tantrumed like fuck. I was enjoying the series until then. Now the focus will be on the comments, not South Africa, who are 2/100 odd and 111 runs away from a gutsy series win.

it used to be footy and cricket

Not anymore. Cricket is deffo dying. T20 is more of a family thing, but at least people go.

Yeah it is  shame but it happens to everyone. I would love to see one or two years where he hits peak form again, just for old times sake. He remonds me of messi, bit a weird cunt but very good at what he does, probably autistic

Shame that Marnus has been struggling wince he hit 1#, think maybe the pressure of performing has got to him, probably feels lile he has to score a ton a game and overdoes the aggressive shots

They're both strongly on the spectrum, and TBH thats the way the game is headed, at least in Australia. Cricket isn't a popular game with the youth, not many chads coming through, mostly autismo little kids who can actually watch 5 days of a game without having their heads turned by more interesting thinks like kicking a footy with the boys, of fucking the girl down the street in a half built house.

Absolutley nutty that Smith has an average 10 higher than the other three these days. I think Root’s plummeted this series.

Roots was only so high because he actually started scoring consistent centuries rather than a dozen 60s-80s.

Tin Tins average is dropping however, regressing towards the mean. He'll probably retire with a 53-56 average, like Tendulkar or Kallis.
