Couldn't have said it better. I think this attitude surrounding user data and privacy is really what big tech banks on to continue operating the way they do. If you think about it, how many of us actually spend the time going through the security settings on our phones to ensure that we're not inadvertently sharing data we aren't comfortable with? It's all really just about the wording too when you think about it. How bad can sharing location data be with an app that actually uses it, e.g. Google Maps. On the surface its not such a bad idea till you take into account that the same geo-location data is used to generate so much other data related to user habits, etc which we all just shrug off as a necessity to ensure that the services work right. However, I guarantee you that the day Google has to start isolating location data is the day Google Maps dies an untimely death. Either ways I found that tweet rather hilarious in the way he absolved those other companies while targeting just one.

The delusion in this tweet about Big Tech is actually laugh worthy. It doesn't matter which company you talk about they are all using psychology to get you to stay on their platforms or buy more of their products.

I dock it in the TV and play it when I am not on the move because I honestly prefer the controller over the joycons for platformers but like you whenever I am on the move I play it more in mobile mode and probably have played it more in mobile mode since I got it. Nice to see that Nintendo are actually offering free repairs because when mine went to pots I asked the guy at the store what the option was and he said just replace them because even if they repair them the drift can come back. The only good news about all of this is I got some night bright colored ones vs the grey ones that I originally got with my Switch. How far have you gotten in Metroid Dread? I think I am about 70% done now.

Joycons are notorious for stick drift. They need replacements ever so often. I bought a set from JP when it first launched and I thought they'd last but sadly they didnt and since then I have had them replaced. The good news is that I ditched my joycons and use my Pro controller for most of my gaming now.

The first time I "countered" one I was so excited I just stood around it to see if i I could hit it. Lo and behold it came back and then ... well ... I got sent back to the start of the door. All in all I think its nice that you have to sneak around a bit even if the tools to sneak are pretty horrible sometimes.

While it may seem trite to the regular gamer its very useful in the industry for landing new jobs, etc. I can't see why MercurySteam wouldn't put the names of those artists/devs in the end-credits. This is also a big of strong-arming which forces employees to stick around till a project is done even if the work conditions are bad because hey you wont get any credit if you don't. Bit silly this practice.

If you own a Switch this is imo a must buy just because it has all the elements required to be engaging enough as a game and good to carry around from a portability standpoint as well.

If you play any 1v1 FGC games I highly recommend this video if you're online and playing competitively. The amount of knowledge in this short video is ridiculous. Now, the only problem is execution and that just comes with time and practice. P.S. It's also very good for winding up friends when they play Guilty Gear or SF with you haha.

Thought the Prime games were actually quite good especially the second one although I do agree that whenever I think of a Metroid game I always think of a side-scroll platformer which this is. This makes me wonder if Nintendo has plans for an F-Zero for the Switch.

Took my time and finished this and I think its one of the best Action-RPG games I played this year. Simple mechanics, good music and best of all its cheap on steam right now. Now I move onto Metroid Dread.

Sadly, that may never happen and then the entire studio did a U-Turn and posts a tweet too. I still don't think they'll do it until one of their other big projects start to dwindle but TF2 is imo a top ten FPS single-player-campaign contender. If you haven't played it yet give it a run, its a rush.

Clearly will always be his fault. The amount of support the owners have given him and the club is unreal. Lets not also forget that he did the same thing at Bayern as well so from observation its really all down to him and not the resources he has.

I'd do it just because, as you said, its a hobby and if you can get paid for a hobby then nothing like it. Are they offering you percentages of sales on the stock images?
