  1. Step 1: Be owned by a state. Step 2: Be sponsored by an organisation also owned by that state. Step 3: Get that state to give itself its own money by funneling money from the sponsoring organisation to the club. Step 4: Pretend this is legitimate income.

  4. If that was your main argument then fair enough but you, like many others, decide to include a lot of nonsense in your overall argument that makes you look silly. Most of you went from "forget qualifying for the Champions League, let's win a trophy, 4th place isn't a trophy" to "FA Cup doesn't count, we need to be like Tottenham who've qualified for the Champions League". This is nothing new though, being sensible and pointing out that wanting a new manager is fine but you still have to make sense is treated is being an outrageous point to make because we have to pretend that Wenger hasn't made the club bigger, achieved more than other Arsenal managers, done well under the circumstances regarding the stadium move. Looking at things in context is apparently crazy but pretending that he's actively trying to take the club backwards, that he just doesn't care or that George Graham was somehow better is somehow sane. The same conversations happen everytime, a couple of unnamed posters regurgitate the same thing everyday, someone else comes in after a while to suggest you at least make sense and stay truthful rather than make it about a nightmare you've invented in your head, those posters don't listen and things go round in a circle.
  5. Still deciding what system this England team should play and what the squad should look like. Hopefully we at least have it sorted earlier than the last 2 tournaments where we decided what were going with in the warm up games. Still, a total disconnect between qualification and preparation for the tournament is quite ridiculous.
  6. Those players were sold because they wanted out and also because we had to finance the stadium move so it made sense. And he did that while keeping the team in the top 4 when the mighty Tottenham were predicted to finish above us for the whole of that period. You pretending Wenger just wanted to sell them just for the sake of it is either ignorance or you intentionally presenting the facts in a disingenuous way because you're desperate to make Wenger look like an evil influence on the club which in turn makes you look quite ridiculous.
  7. Did you actually read what I said? You were the one comparing him to managers from the past, I corrected you and your response is "don't talk about the past". I also mentioned that going forward, it's not wrong to think that a new manager could improve things but you're totally going to ignore that part. I've said this before but I'll say it again, wanting a new manager isn't the problem with the people that obsess about wanting Wenger out. Most of them being quite stupid when talking about it is a problem though and makes it difficult to take them seriously.
  8. Pretty sure he's our most successful ever manager... To @Gunnersauraus's point, people are pretending that we used to be something that we weren't before Wenger. Must be people listening to the morons that appear on ArsenalFanTV or "WOBs" on Twitter. Nothing wrong with wanting Wenger replaced but at least come to the table with statements that hold true. Facts are that the 20 years under Wenger have been better than the 20 years before him. Going forward we may need someone new with new ideas and that's where the debate needs to be when discussing a new manager rather than pointing to the past and suggesting Wenger's not done better than those before him as that is quite easily incorrect.
  9. New trailer for The Last Of Us: Part II. Looks like a flashback to when Ellie's mother became pregnant (6 or 7 years after the outbreak). Maybe during the beginning stages of the Fireflies as well. Could just be a flashback but it could be that you play the game both during the past and during the present, similar to The Last Of Us: Left Behind DLC.

The Shield as babyfaces isn't something I like. Only reason they're back together is because none of the three could get over on their own. And it's a shame Angle's first match back was wasted on this.
  12. You'd think adults would at least look things up before going to protest rather than relying on a face book post for all their information. Unfortunately, however mind boggling the stupidity and desperation of bigots are, there are a hell of a lot of them.
  13. Fast & Furious 8 - 6/10 Shot Caller - 7/10 Kong: Skull Island - 6.5/10 Guardians Of The Galaxy: Vol. 2 - 6.5/10 Baby Driver - 7.5/10 The Beguiled - 6/10 Blade Runner - Old sci-fi films always seem to fail to deliver. Not really talking about the special effects but the story wasn't up to much either. 5.5/10 The Big Sick - 7.5/10 The Dark Tower - 5.5/10 War For The Planet Of The Apes - 7.5/10
  14. Watched those film shorts the other day. Never would've thought Batista would actually end up being a solid actor but fair play to him. In terms of actual acting talent, he shows more of it than The Rock in my opinon.
  15. This is the perfect anthem for the death of football.
  16. Thankfully it sounds like no one was seriously hurt as this seems to be a shitty attempt at a bomb. Surely there's camera footage to see who left it there.

  18. He always gets into good positions to score. That's a goal threat. And based on last season, he puts a fair few of them away. Scored more goals than Vardy last season. In less games. From the wing.
  19. Chamberlain and Walcott weren't even competing for the same spot and when they were, before the formation change, Chamberlain was rarely effective whereas Walcott while he doesn't look silky and impressive he still was a lot more effective than Chamberlain. As I said before though, two totally different players that were used differently. Chamberlain is a runner with the ball whereas Walcott is a goal threat.
  20. She was drunk on her way to meet her children?
  21. Out of the players that have left , only Chamberlain can be considered an "asset" and he wasn't that influential. Alexis Sanchez would of course be a bigger deal but both are more a case of selling 2 players whose contracts are up and don't actually want to see out their final year and want to make the move happen now. The bigger question is why we supposedly don't have money to spend now, which is what one of few reliable journalists, David Ornstein, has said. Theory is that Kroenke wants to build a new stadium for the LA Rams which could cost up to $2.5 billion and that's where Arsenal money is set to be invested... Obviously that might just be a case of people putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5
  22. My point was that there are plot holes but blue fire isn't one of them.
  23. You thinking this is true is what's wrong.
  24. The chains were a bit of a hole in the storytelling to be honest but I don't know how blue fire is in anyway an issue.
  25. They don't mean anything. Jaime should've died when he fell into the sea.
