On to season 2 of The Sinner. It does a better job of become True Detective than True Detective.

I like how Triple H buried every other feud as being a case of people playing characters but what he's doing is real. And he did it in the middle of the show. I'd be so pissed if I was a wrestler in that company. Even as a fan it's pretty ridiculous that someone on the show is turning around and saying "we're playing pretend". I know Triple H gets a lot of credit with NXT but when he's actually involved in a storyline, he still tries to shit on everyone to get himself over.

The issue with these call ups is that they're not being called up for any specific storyline. More a case of WWE just hoping people tune in because they said "look, here's someone new". Then of course there's the fact that there's a lot of talent they've called up previously that are still waiting to be used properly let alone the wrestlers that were already there that need to be used better. Raw somehow has become barren when it comes to interesting wrestlers on the men's side so I can understand them calling a couple of wrestlers up, maybe Aleister Black & Ricochet (although he's more impressive athletically than actually interesting...) as they've pretty much finished up in NXT already. Maybe SmackDown could've done with a female wrestler coming up as they're 2 biggest names are currently using both shows to promote a Raw match which means Asuka doesn't have anyone to feud with as all the other names are on Raw doing nothing. Shayna Baysler would've been an interesting call up there, NXT women's champion v. SmackDown women's champion.

To be fair, Bakayoko is currently playing well at AC Milan. Maybe not £40m good but he can still offer something if Chelsea choose to keep him after he returns from loan.

He's decided not to sign a new contract so WWE had Nia Jax make him look like a fool... It could be a work though as WWE usually don't confirm a wrestler not renewing, especially months in advance. To what end? Who knows. Or it could be true.

Think that video was from last year's WrestleMania. That title really does mean nothing. Don't think anyone's had a single good run with it.

Enjoyed the cruiserweight match and both the women's title matches. Glad they had Asuka win clean as Becky was going to get back what she lost anyway. Both Rumbles were quite underwhelming especially the Women's Royal Rumble. Everything with Maria & Alicia Fox was pretty terrible. Nia Jax eating an RKO in the men's Royal Rumble was extremely satisfying though.

Vince has been pretty terrible since coming back. You can see he doesn't have the energy like he used to. Just feel kind of bad watching him. As for the Royal Rumble, Seth Rollins to win the men's Royal Rumble and face Lesnar. Becky Lynch to win the women's Royal Rumble and face Rousey as the main event. Don't mind a surprise in the men's Rumble but the women's one is pretty much only between Charlotte & Becky.

Bellerin out for up to nine months with a ruptured ACL. A big shame for him and for us. Started the season extremely well, got injured, came back and had a very good game against Chelsea, now his season is over. Still can't figure out how it happened, he was just closing down, then bam, ruptured ACL.

They pulled a few punches last season by not killing off audience favourites like Arya and Jaime when they probably should've. Hopefully they're a bit more ballsy in the final season and aren't more concerned with pleasing the masses than telling the best story possible. Hopefully no random musicians show up in any random scenes just to sing random songs either...

So apparently the new LA Rams stadium that Kroenke is building, that was initially set to cost $2.5b, is apparently now set to cost $4.9b. I'm sure there's no connection to us now having no money...

I like how some people are trying to put it all on the purchases of Lacazette & Aubameyang last season when we actually made a profit last season on transfers and reduced the size of the squad. Our spend in the summer wasn't that big either. The TV money is crazy, then there's the sponsors, the ticket sales and the merchandise sales. The idea that we even need to worry about FFP seems extremely weird. Shit doesn't add up.
