  1. Felt the first half of the episode was great, second half was meh. Would've been better to end with the opening scene in my opinion.
  2. Scary that this can happen to someone who is young and fit. Don't really know where he can go from here. Tragic situation for him and his family.
  3. Finish was simple but a good run, not really something different we've seen from Giroud but if he can show that he can do that consistently while maybe pulling something out the bag which is what we need from a striker as just doing okay won't be much of an upgrade. The goal will help him settle though and gain confidence.
  4. Szczesny had a very good season at Roma, same with Chambers at Middlesbrough and Walcott scored 19 goals from the wing last season, bettered a goal every other game... Saying he's bad is extremely incorrect. Per isn't done and Campbell hasn't been sold. Gabriel has actually been solid in the 3 man defence and Elneny never really has a bad game, always quite solid. You should pay less attention to morons on twitter who base their information on FIFA and the clowns on ArsenalFanTV. Cazorla's and Wilshere's injuries are a concern though so at least we agree on that.
  5. I'll just say that Tottenham once again need to hope that like last season, they don't get a few injuries, that squad overall is genuinely quite weak. One of the reasons you failed so badly in your average Champions' League group. Even you as someone who thinks the Tottenham squad don't have much to worry about, are only concerned with the first 14/15 players which isn't a lot unless you just want to concentrate on one competition. Lamela, Sissoko and Janssen as your go to players off the bench is poor.
  6. Nah, that's bullshit. If they could actually stay fit, it's a good squad. 2 strong different elevens with some decent youngsters after that. Some will still leave though because of the amount of players in the squad. Comparing it to Tottenham's overall squad, it's quite easily better. You've got a good first XI but after that there's very little there. Would've expected Tottenham to be a lot busier this summer to improve their squad depth.
  7. Goalkeepers: Cech, Szczesny, Ospina, E. Martinez Defenders: Koscielny, Mustafi, Mertesacker, Holding, Chambers, Gabriel, Bellerin, Debuchy, Jenkinson, Kolasinac, Monreal, Gibbs Midfielders: Xhaka, Elneny, Coquelin, Cazorla, Ramsey, Wilshere, Reine-Adelaide, Zelalem, Chamberlain, Maitland-Niles, Ozil, Toral Attackers: Walcott, Iwobi, J. Campbell, A. Sanchez, L. Perez, Welbeck, Lacazette, Giroud, Akpom Think that's the whole squad right now.
  8. The reaction to it has been largely positive and to say he doesn't know anything is bollocks. He has a reputation as already helping a lot of the younger players at the club and he isn't one of these moron footballers. Would much rather him than Tony Adams get that job. Arteta would've been another who would've been good in a similar role but unfortunately he was into bald guys.
  9. The starting duo currently is Giroud and Griezmann. Mbappe is mainly used as either a rotation for Griezmann or he plays on the wing cutting in. He's not an undisputed starter over Giroud. The point that you're attempting to make makes no sense either when the discussion is about Giroud v. Lacazette for France. It's like you accepted that I was right but didn't want to admit it so made it about Mbappe v. Lacazette while pretending it somehow makes a point about Giroud v. Lacazette which it doesn't.
  10. What do you mean you don't buy into it? Do you think he's not a regular starter because he does fit their system better than Giroud but they thought it'd be more fun to go against that? Lacazette and Giroud are two totally different types of strikers, of course it's down to what you need when it comes to who you play. And Mbappe and Lacazette aren't the exact same type of player either, it's like saying Martial and Sturridge are the same type of player. If we are to say they're the same type of player then I guess Lacazette is just better as he scored more goals than Mbappe last season.
  11. People saying Lacazette isn't better than Giroud are wrong and people saying Giroud doesn't belong in the French national team are also wrong. Two different types of ignorance being shown. Giroud starts for France and does well for France because he fits their system better, he's also a better fit as a striking partner for Griezmann. That's what it's mainly about, systems and tactics. Glad I could help you all out but I remember saying something similar about paying attention to how France play when people thought Martial was going to start for France at the Euros... People never learn.
  12. They have a transfer ban which is why they decided to keep Griezmann who was likely to move to Man Utd and why their deal for Lacazette was shot down. About the increased fee, clubs will always look for more money from Premier League sides.
  13. Lyon president has said the deal won't be more than €50m. Decent deal in today's market if true. Less than Ozil in terms of Euros but maybe more in terms of Pounds. Not a record transfer but still a record transfer...

    Walking Dead

Totally different cast and it's pretty much during the time period when people starting turning. The pace of the show is a lot quicker.

    Walking Dead

Fear The Walking Dead is better than The Walking Dead.

    Hip Hop/Rap

About that Jay-Z album, not really a fan of it... Not that it's bad but it's a bit meh. For a long time in my opinion, his songs have been a lot more about his beats than his rapping. Can't feel anything he raps, he's just there.
  17. They're different types of strikers and Lacazette probably fits the way we generally want to play better. Selling Giroud would make no sense though regardless of who we brought in. Lacazette, Giroud & Welbeck as our striking options is decent.
  18. That time when Januzaj was going to become English and save the English national team was an interesting time.

Yes. English football stopped and had a discussion about national identity over him.

He'll forever go down as a disappointment...

    Hip Hop/Rap

His Blackbox, Warm Up Session & Mad About Bars were great. His Fire In The Booth is pretty brilliant as well.
  20. This is true but combine being a Real Madrid fan with being a Man Utd fan and you've got yourself one hell of a cunt.

    Wrestling

Old school WWF promos with JR sounding like he's going to have a heart attack are still great.
  22. Could be an interesting last 16 tie with Tottenham when they're once again hopeless in trying to get out of a CL group that they're favourites for.
  23. Did not know Marcos Alonso got away with murdering someone while drink driving.

      Viva la FCB

Same thing happend with a notable Canadian hockey player early in his career. He killed his best friend in the accident and he walked away. He continued his career and did quite well not one person called him a killer. Even his best friends family forgave him. Famous/Rich or not people make dumb decisions all the time we are human, doesnt make him a murderer.

      Spike

The devil is in the details. He killed someone indirectly as opposed to having the intention to kill. You can lump him in with people like Gacy if you like but I draw a distinction between an accident and killing with intent.

On a serious note, he obviously didn't intentionally kill someone but it was still his fault it happened. The fact that he thought it was okay to drink and drive shows how much of an idiot he was/is.

  24. Monreal might just continue as the LCB with Kolasinac & Gibbs as the 2 LBs.
  25. 9 times out of 10 he has a good game. Listening to the British media you'd think it was the opposite.
