True Blue Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 (edited) Just like every season, we expect a big summer manager wise and players wise. Don't recall us having some kind of stability since the Roma era started, bar maybe the first two seasons under Jose. So Europa League it is, not too disappointed as we deserved nothing more. We will probably get a new manager who will force a new system, we will need time to adapt with the World Cup ahead which isn't gonna help. Hope to God that any manager that we get doesn't continue with the three at the back and our poor wing backs. Edited May 10, 2018 by True Blue Quote
Cicero Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 Zappacosta Moses Fabregas Pedro Drinkwater Those 5 for sure need to be sold in the summer. Dead weight the lot of them. Shame about Pedro, but he needs upgrading. Quote
True Blue Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 If we'd get a combo of new signings and established youth products with a change of system could be a good season. I also expect Luiz to leave as well, i like him but think his head is elsewhere after his row with Conte. Quote

Can see Alonso becoming a winger option There's also Mount who looks a tremendous talent. And then obviously Odoi and Reuben Loftus-Cheek. Quote

Agreed on all of them, having 37 players on loan gives you a lot of option. However we are using zero of them. Baker was excellent at Vitesse so was Traore, one was loaned one was sold after being pretty decent for the first team. Quote

At the moment, I'd be comfortable with DaSilva, Odoi, and Reuben Loftus-Cheek being a part of the team next year. Along with Van Ginkel. Mount needs a move to the prem. 1 Quote
True Blue Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 Think Da Silva has less than a zero chance to be part of the next seasons first team. We will probably loan him to a premiership struggle were he can truly "shine". Quote

Technical, fast, can defend and beat players and whip a great cross. Shades of Ashley Cole. 1 Quote
The Liquidator Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 (edited) Me tinks without Lee Bowyer's interview, Jay Dasilva would never have been mentioned in this thread these past couple of days. Edited May 10, 2018 by The Liquidator Quote
Cicero Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 You tinks right. Hard to keep up with the millions of players and youth products we have on loan. Quote
carefreeluke Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 (edited) Willian players' player. As for our best player this season... I would have given it to Hazard. With Kante and Rudiger in for a shout. Edited May 10, 2018 by carefreeluke Quote

Cicero Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 (edited) No idea how the players felt Willian (who only had a consistent three months for us) felt he outperformed Kante and Rudiger. Guess theres a lot to it i'd imagine. Anywho, today's BS rumoer is that if Sarri joins us, Jorginho may follow. carefreeluke Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 (edited) Everyone's been below standard but I'd have given it to Eden. FA Cup final still has the potential to sway the vote though. Edited May 11, 2018 by carefreeluke Quote

Aside Mourinho's cup final record, our current bunch are very weak minded. That is all Conte's doing this 2nd half of the season. Instilling a fear in every one of them. You just know that we will be passive, zero intensity, and waiting for things to happen vs making them happen. Coward football. The pinnacle of Conte's 2nd season, will be on show. 1 Quote

Cicero Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 To think we had Lampard, Ballack, and Makelele in midfield. With Joe Cole, Essien, and even Deco as options. Look how far we've regressed. Standards have dropped, where we are so contempt with spending 30 million on fucking Drinkwater. Quote
