Good to know how random these draws actually are.

Why do television companies get such a big influence on the actual draw of the competition...

Maximise income for the competition I guess? Sponsorships and advertising partners have a big say, no doubt. No use (for them) having all the big teams play each other on the same night and 'lesser' teams with fewer viewers taking up other days.

Did a simulator.

PSG's group xD

Group D and G toughest there I'd say. Group A is fairly even.

Hoping for a group of Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk, RB Salzburg and Ferencvaros.

Just for the seethe from the generic talking heads on Sky / BT Sports.

With teams like RB, Inter, Lazio, and Atalanta in Pot 3, there could be some crazy groups.

BT Sport basically put United in PSG's group and City in Porto's group O.o

Manchester United and Liverpool are paired for TV purposes,  I imagine because they draw the most viewers, so they can't play on the same night. Ridiculous.

I watched Casino Salzburg yesterday and thought they had some interesting new prospects, but no chance of advancing.

City’s group 😂😂 Fuck off.

Your group isn't too far off. Should easily qualify from that (along with Atalanta).

Group B looks the toughest?

Atalanta & Ajax are just a bit harder to get through than Porto & Olympiacos.

On the upside, I’m delighted that Man Utd got a difficult group for the first time in their history.

Serhiy Rebrov back to haunt Barcelona... And take on his former team.

Potential for some really good matches in those groups. The English teams definitely seem to have it easier bar United.

Ajax aren't what they used to be a couple of seasons ago.

With your squad, you should breeze the group. Atalanta will give you the toughest test for how they like to attack teams. Having said that, there'll be gaps for you to exploit no doubt. Like when they played PSG last season.

Don’t get me wrong, we have been fortunate (I’m just happy we aren’t playing Napoli again). I’ll laugh my cock off if City get eliminated though.
