Guest Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 @Stan we played Leeds on 6th January and 9th January and won both 1.0 in the fa cup. Are you shore about that ?
Administrator Stan Posted February 12, 2021 Author Administrator Posted February 12, 2021 Just testing you're all awake
Danny Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Isn’t this a delight? The last time I remember seeing this tie playout Leeds stormed Arsenal at Highbury. Kewell and Viduka, back when football seemed simple. Will have to sneak this in during Valentines Day somehow
Guest Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 @Danny last time Leeds played arsenal at highbury we won 5.0 during our unbeaten season. That game was the season before

Lucas Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 We're 100% losing today. I don't think anybody outside of Leeds realises but we've not won an away game in London since we beat QPR 3-1 at Loftus Road in December 2017, over THREE years ago Since then, 23 games later, we've managed just 2 draws and 21 defeats. It's such a bizarre stat. Even more so when you see our away form since last season was incredible and into this has been decent with 6 wins. We like playing away and yet in London we fall to rat shit. Hope that finally ends today. We'll still be missing the likes of Koch and Llorente like normal but Phillips is touch and go now. We can't afford to miss him today. But whatever, we'll give it a go with what we have. Raphinha as always, the dangerman.

If it makes you feel any better, we hadn't beaten Arsenal away before this season since mid-70s...

I'd love to end the London hoodoo. 3 years is an absolute joke. Sometimes you just get a feeling its not going to be your day, with them losing their last two and due a win, I think it'll probably happen. Pepe v Alioski will be a very interesting watch today after what happened with those two back in November.
Lucas Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 No Phillips. So Shackleton plays RB (he's a midfielder), Ayling plays CB (he's a right back) and Struijk moved to DM to replace Phillips (he's no KP). Team is seriously stretched at the mo with losing our centre backs. Great chance this for Arsenal really.
Administrator Stan Posted February 14, 2021 Author Administrator Posted February 14, 2021 Aubameyang back starting and already on the scoresheet. Good skill and footwork and finish.
Administrator Stan Posted February 14, 2021 Author Administrator Posted February 14, 2021 Penalty given. Would be surprised if this was overturned.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted February 14, 2021 Subscriber Posted February 14, 2021 VAR two for two on Super Sunday so far as far as I'm concerned.

Administrator Stan Posted February 14, 2021 Author Administrator Posted February 14, 2021 Overturned. There's one angle, from the touchline at the side, where it looks like Cooper trips Saka as he leans in to him.
Administrator Stan Posted February 14, 2021 Author Administrator Posted February 14, 2021 That has to be a pen . Meslier kicks the back of Saka's heel.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted February 14, 2021 Subscriber Posted February 14, 2021 Leeds can have no complaints with this to be honest. Not really been at it and always vulnerable at the back.
Rick Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 That keeper always looks an absolute liability when I watch Leeds.
Administrator Stan Posted February 14, 2021 Author Administrator Posted February 14, 2021 3-0. Leeds getting battered. Nice assist from Ceballos. Saka running rings around them.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted February 14, 2021 Subscriber Posted February 14, 2021 Christ that was bad. As good as they can be going forward, this isn't the first time this season we've seen Leeds defend like the computer on Amateur difficulty on FIFA. That 3rd goal is proper embarrassing.
Rick Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 Just when you think your own team have defended badly, Leeds just outshine them. That was awful
Danny Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 Awful from Leeds, they really need their players back
