And the next experiment is about to fall apart. Türkgücu München have huge financial troubles. Point deductions are possible, there's talks about terminated contracts etc.

Just curious, what is the significance of that statement?

Experiment, plastic club, an investors toy, uncommon construct: take your pick. Türkgücü were (re)founded as an construct by an investor as late as 2002 after the former club Türk Gücü (established as a football club of the Turkish community in Munich) went bankrupt. They never intended to grow as an organic club, but intended to go up the pyramide to professional football at all cost under waiver of youth development, growth as a club, or building of a fan base. They not only attracted less than 1000 visitors per game in a city of over 1 million inhabitants, during the time the restrictions were lifted, they even had come to the strange idea to play their home matches in Ruhrgebiet 651 kn (or 404.5 miles) away from Munich until DFB prohibited such nonsense.

Another plaything of yet another dodgy investor with absolute power who installs puppet CEOs to circumvent the rules, and then fucks off leaving the club in ruins once he loses interest.

So in other words, brilliant news.

Doesn't sound like there is anyone left who even cares about the ruins.  Even the Turkish community lost interest xD.

Good point, but it's a matter of principle...

One would think that so many clubs folding under the same or similar circumstances would serve as a cautionary tale to other clubs that are considering selling out, but apparently not.

Great match between FCM and Saarbrücken. I feel the Saar shouldn't have lost that. Great chance by Gouras in the 83' that should've been a goal and that non-penalty call shortly after were huge moments. A draw would've been a fair result.

Türkgücü München declared insolvency.

Bit ironic, considering they showed off they would be promoted to 2.Liga until 2023, since their investor model would be much more suited to 3. Liga than the classical clubs scheme.xD

They amended 21 points so far, subtracting the 9 points. that will be deducted due to insolvency, the're at 12 points. Maybe Havelse get the consolation not to finish this season rock bottom after all.

On a more serious note, these insolvencies pose the question what DFB actually do, when checking license documents.

If the DFB strike the results from the table...looks like Duisburg would benefit slightly.

That only happens, if Türkgücü have to stop their busuness operations before the 33rd matchday, though. Otherwise it's just a 9 point deduction for Türkgücü.

By the way 1860 would benefit as well, since they're the only top 8 team, that didn't win their match versus Türkgücü.

All this time i thought you had a lithuanian passport

Huh? What does it have to do with me? xD

A referee having legal trouble because of whistling too loud just comes across as such a quintessentially German thing xD

No indication just yet but I'm hoping the DFB channel streams the Kaiserslautern v. Magdeburg match on Saturday.  Both clubs are on form and a win for 1.FCK could cut the gap to 9 points.  Still quite a buffer for Magdeburg but it would be a heck of a boost for Kaiserslautern going into the stretch run.

No idea, if the DFB youtube channel will, but in case you got a VPN, both SR and SWR will broadcast this match. Odds that at least one of those stations may be available as a stream.
