Wayne Rooney Injures Own Player in Training

Jason Knight is out for three months with an ankle injury following a tackle from his manager Wayne Rooney.

Pound for pound, Derby County are the most interesting team in the country.

What a week for him. They say 'bad luck comes in 3s'. Wonder what's next on his list.

Having said that, they did say it was an 'accidental injury'. Not malicious or anything.

Very much a non-story. I imagine this happens quite a lot where a manager or coach accidentally injures a player during a training session. It's Rooney though and with the week him and Derby are having, it becomes a story.

Exactly. Player gets injured in training. Often it’s player injuries other player in training. Rarer but still possible a coach/manager has injured a player.

It only becomes a story if there was something behind it, e.g a fight, argument etc but it doesn’t appear to be the case here.

Was this before or after he banged two hookers 🤔

Car crash of a club (No pun intended)

It's like they have become the real life version of Harchester United from Sky One's Dream Team.

They just need a murder enquiry to complete the set.
