Kimi under investigation....

Eiiii viiiitttttttttttuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

Very harsh penalty IMO.

Anyway, the race was boring. Vettel could never really attack Hamilton properly. The most exciting thing was the two Force Indias battling each other AGAIN. Perez is not exactly a clean driver to say the least.

Really dull race which is a shame as I love Spa and it usually delivers, that one could have done with some sprinkles of rain.

Hamilton and Vettel doing as expected. Bottas the big loser today, was unfortunate at the restart but any slim chance of him staying in the title fight will slip away from him quickly if he doesn't bounce straight back in Monza.

Why do they have wet tyres if they never race when it's really wet?

Because they're a bunch of talentless bastards. None of them is even close to Senna/Schumacher. Don't listen to the deluded teebs in this thread. Schumacher annihilated the entire field using intermediates in conditions where they don't even start FP3 these days.

Boring boring boring. There's literally no point in having the full wets anymore because they won't go on track until it's ready for the intermediate tyres. Absolutely pathetic. We had races in conditions like Fuji 2007, Silverstone 2008, Monza 2008, Korea 2010, and people crashed but guess what, that's part of F1.

I wouldn't blame the drivers or call them talentless as the ballsier ones will be sitting there getting fucked off that they're the best drivers in the world but the powers that be decide they're not good enough to handle these conditions. However, the younger drivers will become a product of this situation, like Grosjean has whinging that they should never have gone out in these conditions, because they'll get so used to not having to drive in the rain that they'll think it's an absolute disgrace if the FIA and Charlie Whiting decide one day that they can't hide behind the red flag.

everyone seen all the penalties given out today because of changes made to cars after qualifying?

Perez qualified in 11th. Got a 5-place grid penalty. Starts in 10th. All because of the amount of penalties given out xD .

for me this is the one that killed the excitement of formula one - this one rule -----

  • Teams are not permitted to add or remove fuel from a car during a race. In other occasions during the weekend they may refuel cars but only in their respective garages, and only at a rate of 0.8 litres per second.

during the era of hill/villeneuve/schumacher/mika/montoya/alonso ........... the cars are driven to their full potential.    and i don't really cared if the overtaking during those times can be done mostly during pit stops, but it's very exciting to see how much fuel they put against the opposition and how they play out their strategies.      Right now, it's really boring.    all you need to do is to tune in to the last 15 laps of the race and that's it.   Unlike before ( discount year 2002 and 2004 where Ferrari dominated ) when you can't take your eyes off the screen coz you never know what will happen

Not about luck for Verstappen today @Cannabis, his foolish mistake after another unnecessary risk. He needs to calm down in the car because looking at Ricciardo 's drive Verstappen had the car for third place if he managed to drive a clean race. His problem is that he is learning his trade in a top car, like Hamilton in late 2007-8 and Vettel in 2009-10, where both made plenty of mistakes in high pressure situations. Verstappen will get there too.

A good start to the race, but not that exciting overall. Ferrari need to respond in Singapore or the title will be gone soon.

Raikkonen disappointing again today, Stroll and Ocon impressive all weekend.

Guys, do you remember Vettel's last year at Red Bull? His car had a major mechanical or electronical failure in the qualifying or race nearly every weekend, whereas RIC almost never had any problems. Now the same is happening to Verstappen.

Does RIC manipulate his team mate's car?

Don't you dare lose a bad word about the international treasure that is Danny Ricciardo!

Absolute stunner from Mr Singapore Seb Vettel! Almost 600ms faster than Kimi.

Expert sand bagging from Ferrari and Seb sticks it on pole. Both of his Q3 runs were fast enough. Mercedes beaten by Red Bull as well, good for the championship.

Explain how Vettel was 600ms faster than his teammate. I don't believe it was sand bagging. Redbull were able set multiple top laps in a row with a very high amount of fuel in P3. RBR still has the best racing pace. If Vettel screws up his start tomorrow, he will lose that race.
