Nah, I asked what his targets were with the mid-season break just around the corner. His response was as you'd expect a F1 driver to be, he explained that he's very hard on himself which he admitted could be a weakness and that he has a vague idea of what he wants from the second half of the season but would like to keep that to himself - he did add that his boss might have a different answer however . I really hope he gets some more points, we need more Hartley's in F1. That's what I would have asked first, too! Nah, it's good to see him finally doing better, he's a great bloke. Quote

God is Haaland Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 The most remarkable thing from yesterday's qualifying session - apart from Hamilton's usual, outrageous luck - was that the rain tires somehow already work on the 1st timed lap on the Mercs, whereas all other cars need 3, 4 or 5 laps before the tires deliver acceptable grip levels. I can't remember any car that could do that for the last 30 years. I wonder if Mercedes prepare the tires differently. Did anybody notice anything? Quote

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted July 29, 2018 Subscriber Posted July 29, 2018 I really hope the anti-Hamilton stance is a troll and not serious otherwise it goes to show F1 fans (German ones at least) are just as bad as football fans for blind bias. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted July 29, 2018 Administrator Posted July 29, 2018 Kimi love him so much. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted July 29, 2018 Administrator Posted July 29, 2018 Great start for Mercedes. Quote

Administrator Stan Posted July 29, 2018 Administrator Posted July 29, 2018 Verstappen losing power. More bad luck for Red Bull. Wtf is wrong with them?! Quote
Administrator Stan Posted July 29, 2018 Administrator Posted July 29, 2018 Kimi having troubles with his drink?! Surely he'll be severely dehydrated taking no fluids on board. Turning in to a procession for Hamilton to win this. Quote
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted July 29, 2018 Subscriber Posted July 29, 2018 This will be a boring race now. Vettel might get past Bottas with the alternate strategy but otherwise meh. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted July 29, 2018 Administrator Posted July 29, 2018 Ricciardo having a great race so far. Quote
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted July 29, 2018 Subscriber Posted July 29, 2018 Don't see what's so impressive about Ricciardo cruising past cars that are two seconds slower than him and basically not putting up a fight guys. Fair enough if he was doing Vettel and Bottas but he's not. Any of the top six guys cruising through the midfield is expected even on this track, doesn't make him driver of the day. Quote

Why didn't Ferrari get Vettel in the pits while Hamilton was 14 seconds behind and hitting traffic? Lead is only 9 seconds now so Vettel's gonna have to work harder to get the lead back when he comes back out? Quote
God is Haaland Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 VET pitstop 4.2s Ferrari needs to practise. Quote
