Administrator Stan Posted June 29 Author Administrator Posted June 29 What's happened to Sane? He seems to be a shadow of the player that got him a move to Bayern. Quote
Michael Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Havertz's header was superbly saved by Schmeichel, but that was really a big chance for Germany to take the lead. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted June 29 Author Administrator Posted June 29 What a break from Denmark. Neuer did well off his line. Quote
Michael Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Hojlund was put through on goal, but Neuer rushes out to save at his feet! Quote
Michael Posted June 29 Posted June 29 (edited) Joachim Andersen shoots and scores to give Denmark the lead! But the goal has been checked by VAR and it has been disallowed! Edited June 29 by Michael Quote

Michael Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Now there's a potential penalty for Germany as the referee checks for a handball on the screen. Quote
Michael Posted June 29 Posted June 29 It's a penalty for Germany! Joachim Andersen thought he'd scored for Denmark and now he's conceded a penalty for handball. Quote
Michael Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Havertz steps up to take the penalty and he scores! Germany 1-0 Denmark Quote
Administrator Stan Posted June 29 Author Administrator Posted June 29 What a shit few mins for Andersen. Quote
Rick Posted June 29 Posted June 29 I hate the handball rule nowadays. It should only be deliberate handballs, not shit like that. The ball travels 3 feet and he’s running, what is he meant to do?! 1 Quote

Michael Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Havertz was put through on goal there, but although he gets his shot past the outrushing Schmeichel, his shot goes wide of the post! Quote

Michael Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Musiala is put through and he goes on a run and he finishes with a lovely shot that finishes into the back of the net! Germany 2-0 Denmark Quote
Devil Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Game set and match. Denmark suffering the same problem my team, a striker who is a bang average finisher. He's no a top level striker Hojlund, he's wasted so many of Denmarks best chances. Quote

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted June 29 Subscriber Posted June 29 The handball rule continues to take us closer to a place where wingers would be better off practising how to win handball penalties by lumping the ball at a defender's general upper body than practising how to beat a man. Just feels like referees are looking to catch defenders out on a technicality. 2 Quote

He's not a natural finisher and his all round play isn't that great. He's always got a chance to prove me wrong but I'm not seeing a striker I feel will hugely improve. The problem like Antony is his fee defines the opinion. He's not a 70 million pound player, if we'd signed him for 20 to 30 million I'd be inclined to give him more time. Quote
