Administrator Stan Posted November 4, 2017 Author Administrator Posted November 4, 2017 Not sure about today. Reckon it'll be a draw and Stoke will have confidence from a good win at Watford. If we start like we did against Swansea and Everton and take our chances it should set up for a good game.
Guest Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 I think we will play defensive tomorrow. Still think we'll loose but football isn't always unpredictable. City could have a bad game or a player get sent of. You never know. They took penalties to beat wolves. The thing is we could do everything right and still loose
Administrator Stan Posted November 4, 2017 Author Administrator Posted November 4, 2017 2-2 draw. Called a draw but in all honesty we should have beaten these. On top for most of the game and should have been about 4-1 up at one stage. There was a period in the first half we had about 3 clear cut chances and a brilliant save from Butland paved the way for their first equaliser. think it's about time Fuchs was dropped. In no-mans land for the first goal and you don't give Shaqiri that much time on the ball, at least not in the box anyway. Would have preferred the win of course but considering Utd also got a draw there and some of Stoke's other results there too, it's not that bad.

Bournemouth might be better going forward than anyone we've played in recent weeks. Defoe will 100% score. Joselu under pressure now, he needs a goal. We are not very good going forward without Merino and he will miss this game You've only lost one recently haven't you?
Cicero Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Where's @Teso dos Bichos? Surprised he isn't here laughing at LCFC's draw or predicting United to beat us and Mourinho to tactically outclass Conte.

Administrator Stan Posted November 4, 2017 Author Administrator Posted November 4, 2017 some unhappy Geordies on here tonight. Last minute Bournemouth goal to make it 1-0. Burnley do it again away from home. Beat Southampton 1-0!

Administrator Stan Posted November 4, 2017 Author Administrator Posted November 4, 2017 Everton down to 19th with that Bournemouth goal
Lucas Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 4 goals in the 3pm kick offs? Match of the Day can get fucked tonight.

Just shows you how poor the teams are outside the top 4 really.... You could never flog this as entertainment around the world could you??

Administrator Stan Posted November 4, 2017 Author Administrator Posted November 4, 2017 Mane should have stayed at home to recover more. Not doing much. Mind you, the game is quite boring anyway.
Administrator Stan Posted November 4, 2017 Author Administrator Posted November 4, 2017 Haha as I was saying...
Administrator Stan Posted November 4, 2017 Author Administrator Posted November 4, 2017 2-0. More shite defending! Not one defender following up Hart's good save.
Rafa Beneathus Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 First half was very good but lack of a half decent striker cost us dearly. Second half was poor and their goal was coming for a while. January I think we will spend money and be fine. Perez and Murphy coming on made us even worse.

The guys on Five Live said Crouch could be in line for a return cos Southgate was at our match as well Imagine that. Crouch and Murray.

Would have preferred the win of course but considering Utd also got a draw there and some of Stoke's other results there too, it's not that bad. Third year on the bounce we've drawn it 2-2. Ridiculous. Agree pretty much with every bit of that. We should've never given them a sniff in the first half. Butland had a fantastic game and for me was MOTM, although Mahrez should've done far better for that chance just after our first - lays that across to Vardy like last week and it's 0-2 and we probably go on to win. But if you defend like that you don't deserve to win. Fuchs has been appalling all season. Simpson's going to be phased out for sure as he'll want a full-back who contributes more going forward, and to be honest the centre halves get away with it somewhat, I think even Maguire's been a bit iffy of late. Will need to see the goals back to know who is fully at fault but Crouch having such an easy header when 1-2 up is pathetic. I think we fell apart when Iborra went off. He's the best midfielder we've had at controlling a game since Cambiasso.
Inverted Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Firmino’s got through some amount of tackles today.
Administrator Stan Posted November 4, 2017 Author Administrator Posted November 4, 2017 Proper hate when commentators say 'his eyes were on the ball' as if no player has any kind of peripheral vision. Carroll knows exactly what he's doing when he tries to win headers and knows where the players he's challenging are.
Dr. Gonzo Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Lanzini's goal was so good. And we immediately get another after, I actually feel a bit bad for Hart. Not too bad because our defense is shit too.
Inverted Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Joe Gomez really doesn’t seem ready for this long a run in the team.
