EFL Cup Semi-Final - Arsenal (2) 2-1 (1) Chelsea (2nd Leg)

Recommended Posts

VAR was the highlight of the first leg, alongside Chelsea missing a hatful of chances. Arsenal held firm but couldn't get an away goal. Could that prove costly?

Both sides hit 4 goals in their league fixtures this weekend.

Could this one go all the way to penalties? If it's going to be 2-2 like we saw in the league fixture at the start of the year, we're all in for a treat :D

Just like the last time around, depends on which Chelsea runs out. The not arsed one or the one that is sharp in attack. Morata and Pedro return for this one, while Cahill, Cesc and maybe even Courtois are highly doubtful.

I know that's your choice of line up mate but after watching Conte's press conference, I reckon he was hinting at a change back to the three man midfield.

What I reckon Conte will go with:

Hazard

Willian

Drinkwater

Alonso----Bakayoko----Kante----Moses

Cahill----Christensen---Azpilicueta

Courtois

what's happened to Kolasinac? Been decent for the first 3-4 months of the season. Seemed to have fit in well in the left wing-back position. Now can't get back in to the team?

Lucky Arsenal getting the offside call and our goal ruled out... could only have been an arm hair in it...

the all-important away goal for Chelsea!

Hazard is put lean through by Pedro and then slides it past Ospina. Good goal.

haha what even was that goal. Rudiger has no clue as it hits his Alonso, himself, then goes past Caballero. 1-1!

Spat out my drink when I saw the replay. Comedy gold. Can't wait until Alonso sits the bench.

Is it any surprise... The only noise is coming from the away fans.. It's like taking a short cut through the graveyard on your way back home from being on the piss...

Moses not being able to get the better of Iwobi on numerous occasions.
