Administrator Stan Posted July 23, 2023 Administrator Posted July 23, 2023 Have driven up to Manchester today. Was fine til I stopped at Stafford. Carried on my journey, left the services and it went so grey, gloomy and miserable So much for summer... Quote
MUFC Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 In my city most of May was dry while hovering round 20 degrees. Whole of June was nice with a couple of weeks of really hot weather. The whole of July has been nothing but fucking rain. Quote
Moderator Tommy Posted July 31, 2023 Moderator Posted July 31, 2023 Same. It feels like autumn already in the middle of summer. Quote
Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted August 3, 2023 Subscriber Posted August 3, 2023 A bit milder today but still raining off and on, the met says some thunder & lightning around lunchtime. Quote
Moderator Tommy Posted August 11, 2023 Moderator Posted August 11, 2023 Summer has returned for a day. 30 C° today. Quote
Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted August 13, 2023 Subscriber Posted August 13, 2023 Lovely, beautiful, thunder, rain & lighting, goes down well with me, not the wife though she hates thunder & lighting. Quote

Moderator Tommy Posted August 18, 2023 Moderator Posted August 18, 2023 One thing that I have noticed is, we always reach our highest temperatures in the afternoon or evening now. I remember usually it was hottest around noon or or midday, but now we always reach the highest temperature around 17:00 or 18:00. It's been like that for the last few weeks. Weird. At 15:00 it was 24 C° and now we got 30 C°. Quote

Honestly for the most part the weather in where I am in the states is so mild compared to the UK. And so far this storm hasn’t been that bad where I’m at (at least so far), I feel stupid for being worried yesterday… Quote

I actually checked some webcams from San Diego to see how it is in your area. A bit windy I'd say, but nothing too bad. Quote

Saw a webcam video of San Diego on youtube where some idiot thought it would be a good idea to take his sailboat for a spin in this weather, and had to be rescued by police boats. Quote
