Why? They are 15.points behind in the league. That is the competition both play in every week over 38 games against the exact same teams. Winning the Champions league would just be  case of patching up the cracks.

They have all their focus on the tournament now and still nearly fucked up against Juve and they play absolutely shite football. There is nothing to be rattled about. They are dull as fuck.

According to one member Cristiano Ronaldo has been on form all season and is currently the best player (his term used) in the world...  Maybe he had holiday time to take before he lost the days and there's the reason behind the 15 point deficit. :ph34r:

Real Madrid's plan has always been to win back to back Champions League, they have sacrificed their league position for this.  Ronaldo is performing in the Champions League but not In La Liga as he is saving himself.

Undoubtedly the league is the bread and butter but there's no doubt the Champions League has the glamour, you are against the absolute best of the continent.

More concerning for Barcelona should be their lack of ability to beat the best teams in Europe, they are routinely showed up when they play against the best in Europe nowadays. Barcelona are also not a particularly riveting side to watch anymore, unless they're playing some minnow at the latter end of the league. Things have changed.

If Zidane wanted to win the league he would but he doesn't feel its important enough. Real Madrid are the best team ever in Europe which is more known around the world.   They are a commercial giant so they have to win the Champions league.

Zidane personally tell you that? Just shows that they are a cup team really. A better version of Arsenal. Nothing more.

Even though Zidane specifically said the league is harder to win and is the best league to win. 

But I am going to take Van Paddy's word for it though.

Yea but really if you ask any top team, I think the champions league is the overall goal like any player.  Real Cannot win everything, why are Barcelona out of the Champions League if they are so good?
