SchalkeUK Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Not sure if Tommy is going tonight - difficult in UK - we have a league game with Man City, we have a Pokal on ARD with Bayern and now I find SVT3 on Slovenia is screening the 04/Dusseldorf game and the pictures are fine - not sure whether to enjoy watching Leroy or Manuel and Leon or hoping Tommy's lot do the deed and upset Tedesco! Probably a screen split 3 ways is the answer -
SchalkeUK Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Just seen the Bayern team on ARD - not doing what BVB did last night - a really strong team so should be an indication that they want to win the Pokal again! 3 minutes and Bayern are 1-0 behind - so what do I know?
SchalkeUK Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Cant keep up with this! 1-1 in Berlin Now the new kid on the squad shows what a striker should do and 04 have the lead - pity the rest of the team can't do the same!
SchalkeUK Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Damn! Sane scores - not for ManCity who are 1-0 up in Liverpool, but this Sane has scored in Germany for a 2-0 04 lead and Gnabry has got a 2nd in Berlin Sorry Tommy - Drobny should have stopped the third!
SchalkeUK Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Just about to switch off the game with 04 getting a 4th from Sane for a 4-1 result. Bayern and Hertha heading for extra time and Man C going top in UK with a 1-0 score at Everton and 7 minutes extra time being played and a second goal to City after 6 extra minutes! With only one match left time for the laptop and bed! Hope it gets as good as last night!
Moderator Tommy Posted February 6, 2019 Moderator Posted February 6, 2019 Well, that was not enough from Fortuna tonight. Doesn't matter though. It's been a while since we we came so "far" in the Cup, so it has been a successful campaign. Much, much more important will be our match against a fellow direct relegation candidate on Sunday though.
Devil-Dick Willie Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Hoping Hertha pull one back here. Getting rid of bayern opens the cup up to actually being interesting
Rucksackfranzose Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 These are the quarterfinal matches: Schalke - Bremen Bayern - Heidenheim Paderborn - Hamburg Augsburg - Leipzig Although it's refreshing to have at least one 2.Buli club in the semifinals, Bayern enjoying their old Dusel by playing a 2.Buli team at home is disappointing.
Chadwell Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 Can’t wait to be that 2. BuLi side in the semis

SchalkeUK Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 For those of us who will not be travelling in March, ARD has announced their Free to Air transmissions for the Pokal will be Augsburg/Leipzig on Tues 2nd April and Schalke/Werder on Wednesday 3rd both at 1945 local time. Unlike nudge I will be watching from behind the sofa with a large glass of some sort of numbing liquid - unless of course our second game against Man City and Mainz and Werder do the business as well and Tedesco is back in Rossano although it would be cheaper to wait until his two years were up in June when he will probably go back to teaching machines with his degree in Esslingen - one thing is for sure - it hasn't qualified him to teach humans anything at all and the team isn't even playing like a machine either!
Eco Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Tuesday, 4/2 Paderborn vs Hamburger SV Augsburg vs RB Leipzig Wednesday, 4/3 Bayern Munich vs Heidenheim Schalke 04 vs Werder
Eco Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 0-0 at Half-time. Both teams with 'some' chances, but really nothing too inspiring.
Eco Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 And there is the opening. Hamburg score in the 54th minute off the corner to put HSV up 1-0
Eco Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 And HSV score again. Lasoga scores his second of the game, and now Hamburg is up 2-0
Moderator Tommy Posted April 2, 2019 Moderator Posted April 2, 2019 Augsburg equalized in the 93rd minute. Finnbogason, of course. Extra time is in progress. Come on, Augsburg!
