What if the other team play a long ball and score?

I looked it up and it seems that if the goal goes out of play, they cannot go back and review it anymore.

So if the other team scores, meaning the ball goes out of play, it is a goal. Would cause outrage in any match of course, but they coudn't deny them the goal.
