Cicero 5,153
Should have enough to beat them given our form.
True Blue 955
Fulham is piss, but we usually struggle against teams that struggle. Hopefully the lads will be up for it as we need to gain ground.
Cicero 5,153
Need to start Giroud. Desperately need to for the sake of our attack.
Stan 16,925
Only taken 4 minutes for the first goal of the triple-header of derbies. Kante nips the ball of Seri, passes it to Pedro who cuts inside and scores with his left foot from just outside the 6-yard box. Too easy for Chelsea. Rick 2,098
Fulham were decent against us, but every other time I've seen them they are shite. This performance is bollocks, nothing at all going forward. As if they're protecting a one nil loss. Pathetic and cowardly. Annoying, cause I have a bit soft spot for them. Have done for years. Rick 2,098
Yep, anything Fulham have had has came from the Right. Alonso is garbage.
Dan 1,795
What the hell was that ball from Chambers there? Was actually in quite a good position as well.
Rick 2,098
I mean, Morata just had to tap that in. Bellend.
Cicero 5,153
If Fulham actually had a bit of quality in the third, they'd be winning here. We've been nothing short of dreadful

Anti jinxed myself. Assist for Hazard, Loftus-Cheek tucks away after good movement from Chelsea. 2-0.
Stan 16,925
Happy for him. Should have been starting matches a while ago. Linked well with Hazard there. Good finish.
Cicero 5,153
Valuable 3 points. Kante MOTM Issues still blatant. Some of which Sarri cant fix.
carefreeluke 722
Strong words but Barkley and Kovacic won't make it here. Let Ruben Loftus-Cheek play the majority of the rest of the season and let him sink or swim.
RandoEFC 7,190
Barkley gone off the boil already? Thought he'd revived his career by escaping his Everton nightmare after we failed to get the best out of him or have we moved onto a new narrative now? This is a dig at the media by the way, not Chelsea fans.

Cicero 5,153
Standard Morata performance by the way. Missed a sitter and received a pointless yellow card.
carefreeluke 722
Not necessarily I've just never really rated Barkley or Kovacic despite them both having some decent games for us so far. Ruben Loftus-Cheek should be starting over both.
Cicero 5,153
Kovacic needs to have end product Reuben Loftus-Cheek needs to play with higher intensity Barkley needs to be more consistent All three have flaws to be fair
carefreeluke 722
Kovacic and Barkley have both been given good consistent runs in the team though, for Ruben it's been a bit stop and start in terms of having any kind of run. Sarri hasn't given the same level of trust to Ruben as the other two, he admitted that Barkley had to improve tactically but gave him the game time to do that. He says the same about Ruben but has not given the player the same level of game time. Ruben hasn't even started a Premier League game I don't think. I agree with you that he has to play with more intensity but for me that's purely in off the ball situations.

Although Kovacic hasn't been helped by irregular playing time (and similar to Isco beforehand) the lack of knowing his true position in midfield, I'm not totally convinced by him as I know others are, and like Morata last summer there's that doubt about where his potential will go. A loan deal makes this a good move though and on paper we strengthen a position in which I'm most worried about. Nearly suicide for Barkley though, as we'd be bringing in a player of similar characteristics but who has more to his overall game. I'm surprised Barkley has got the game time he has but perhaps the Europa league has helped this a lot, the same way in which it has helped Ruben and Kovacic get more game time. Anyway, my opinion hasn't changed on Kovacic. I like his technical ability but I'm still seeing the same Kovacic I saw at Real Madrid. Not forgetting, we spent two years watching Kanté and Matic in midfield so a player that came in with some calmness on the ball and some good technical ability would have perhaps always been viewed in a more positive light no matter the true level of his actual performances.
