Very important match for us. If we win this, we are one big fucking step closer to staying in the league. Apparently close to 40k tickets sold, so it should be a decent atmosphere as well. Can't wait.

Bit hopeful for Bremen, Sucks to be Dortmund and hannover. And I only had Nurnberg to snatch 1 point!!!

Who is he? Promising?

A German-Cameroonian central midfielder, 18 years old, very promising and had progressed well through our youth setup (he's the youngest player to ever get accepted to Werder's Internat and captained various youth teams despite being a year or two younger most of the time) but had a few injuries a while ago. He already featured in a few pre-season friendlies but I didn't expect to see him anywhere near our first-team this season! Granted he's here today because Bargfrede picked up a knock just before the match but still.

Rashica fresh. Does Bremen well to have som pace in attack.

Rashica is developing into the kind of player I expected Kainz to be (still disappointed he didn't manage to make a breakthrough...). Could use a bit more composure and better finishing though.

Only 7 points out of 18 this season against the last 3 in the league... Poor but not unusual as we always seem to be a bit too complacent when it comes to playing teams that are below us.

On a side note, I really can't stand Hartmann; such a poor ref in my opinion.
