The season we finished fourth in what was a two horse race for the title. Getting beat at Anfield by Coventry after one of David James' regular fuck ups

Aye, a two horse race between Man United and Newcastle and the season Kevin Keegan's famous rant inspired United to win the title :D

Keegan was 96 wasn't it? 1997 it was Man United and Liverpool going for the title. United beat Liverpool at Anfield with about 3 or 4 games left to all but secure it. Liverpool then fell off a cliff and lost that game to Wimbledon and failed to win the last game too. Ending up missing out on Champions League football altogether

Aye, I was thinking of season 1995/96, poor old Keagan though, as a manager the luck was just not with him and his Newcastle finished 2nd again the next season, he resigned from Newcastle in 1997 and Newcastle finished 13th

One grim performance that. Not sure how Rodgers survived after that to be honest

Well that guy at the end must be to do with your Liverpool and it looks like he is thinking "you fucking wanker"  xD
