Bakayoko I still see potential with. There's a good player there somewhere, just he needs to work on his confidence and mentality and get a run of games. With us playing 4-3-3, we'd only have Jorginho, Kanté, Kovacic to play the deeper midfield positions, with Reuben Loftus-Cheek and Luiz may be able to play there if necessary. Could be used as the 4th choice in those positions but at the same time, he's the type of player that needs game time especially considering his age and the stage he's at in his career.

I’d rather keep Drinkwater. Bakayoko is lost. He just cannot adapt to the pace of this kind of football. Poor technically and poor intelligence on the ball.

All in all, the 2017 transfer window will go down as the worst in our history.

Morata, Bakayoko, Drinkwater, and Zappacosta - 170 million

Bakayoko despite being tragic at times, has had some impressive performances for us, big performances. The only problem with him is that I'd imagine he'd have to perform with a lack of consistent game time and getting the most from him in that context is less likely.

Bakayoko should easily find a buyer as he is just 24, while Drinkwater is 29 and on huge wages for a player that played one game in a single season. If he decided to sit out his contract he could become a new Winston Bogarde.

The Bakayoko story is well alive, would be the best option for both sides. Loan him and get some money from his big transfer fee if the deal is completed.

Drinkwater out injured for 6 weeks.

Bloke genuinely won the league then called it a day.

Looked miles off the pace against Sunderland in the cup as well so no surprises he’s picked up another

His reasons for this one look a bit worse than we realised. Beaten up outside a nightclub after trying to chat up a Scunthorpe players bird.

He's just totally given up with football hasn't he. Total waste of career.

They were jumping on his ankle chanting 'break his leg'. Imagine the scum that'd do that. On another note 29 is too old to be hanging around night clubs.

Yeah for all he's been an idiot it seems slightly OTT.

Dont chat up other blokes girl, dont get legs broke. Simple.

Sounds like the two incidents were unrelated. He got tossed out by security and jumped by a group looking to bash a premier league player.

At least have a go 1v1, none of this group bashing nonsense.
