Results - Gameweek Four

Casualties (1)

@nudge, winner of the first round this season is the only casualty this week. nudge backed RB Leipzig to beat Schalke on home turf but the hosts were turned over by David Wagner's in-form side, who ran out 3-1 winners.

nudge is now out of this round, scoring 3 points with a slim chance of adding a bonus point to that haul. Look out for the start of Round Three!

Survivors (3)

All taking different routes through this tricky set of fixtures, we are now down to three men left alive in this round of the competition. @Teso dos Bichos was the first on trial on Friday evening, Frankfurt holding on for a 2-1 win at newly-promoted Union Berlin. @Lucas backed fellow travellers Bayer Leverkusen, who were comfortable in their 3-0 hammering of Bayer Leverkusen. Meanwhile, @Eco took the seemingly safe route, playing his Bayern card as the defending champions visited Paderborn, but was made to sweat as his boys came out on top in a topsy-turvy 3-2 affair.

Congratulations for reaching Gameweek Five. You each have 4 points on the board at least, and are all guaranteed to score at least one bonus point as part of the final three. Read ahead for the next set of fixtures.

As we avoided a scenario of all remaining players failing to pick correctly, the tie breaker didn't come into effect this week.

Preview - Gameweek Five

We're well into nosebleed territory now. Please remember to pick a first goalscorer as well as your regular match winner, just in case we find ourselves in a scenario where all three of you fail to pick a winner. A reminder of the teams you have each picked so far to make it this far:

@Teso dos Bichos - Bayern, Dortmund, Schalke, Frankfurt

@Lucas - Bayern, Dortmund, Schalke, Leverkusen

@Eco - Frankfurt, Schalke, Leverkusen, Bayern

So everyone heads into this week with a pretty similar set of options available to them. Eco can still pick Dortmund at some point in what is the most significant advantage remaining. Fixtures below:

Hertha Berlin vs Fortuna Dusseldorf

Bayern München vs TSG Hoffenheim

Bayer Leverkusen vs RB Leipzig

Freiburg vs Borussia Dortmund

Paderborn vs Mainz 05

Schalke 04 vs 1. FC Koln

Borussia M'Gladbach vs Augsburg

Wolfsburg vs Union Berlin

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Werder Bremen

Good luck!

F. G. - vedad Ibisevic (hertha)

Equalises 4 minutes later.

This could decide the competition if Gladbach fail to win.

Casualties (0)

Nobody stumbled this week, extending this round of the competition once again.

Survivors (3)

The action took until Sunday lunchtime to get underway this weekend. @Teso dos Bichos and @Eco were up first, and didn't sweat for long, as Gladbach surged into a 3-0 lead in 13 minutes and went on to take a 5-1 win that took them back to the top of the table. Next up were Wolfsburg, who continued their own good form with a 1-0 win over Union Berlin, sending @Lucas on to Gameweek Six too.

That's 5 points on the board for each of you, and counting.

Preview - Gameweek Six

Remember to ensure that you pick a team you haven't used before for the next set of fixtures after the international break. I also need your first goalscorer again in case of a tie break becoming necessary.

@Teso dos Bichos has used Bayern, Dortmund, Schalke, Frankfurt and Gladbach

@Lucas has used Bayern, Dortmund, Schalke, Leverkusen and Wolfsburg

@Eco has used Frankfurt, Schalke, Leverkusen, Bayern and Gladbach

Fixtures below, good luck!

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Bayer Leverkusen

Augsburg vs Bayern Munchen

Union Berlin vs Freiburg

RB Leipzig vs Wolfsburg

Werder Bremen vs Hertha Berlin

Fortuna Dusseldorf vs Mainz 05

Borussia Dortmund vs Borussia M'Gladbach

1. FC Koln vs Paderborn

TSG Hoffenheim vs Schalke 04

Results - Gameweek Six

A much better contest than the Premier League edition this season. Here are the results from Gameweek Six.

Casualties (1)

@Teso dos Bichos is the only casualty in the ever-depleting roster this week, as Werder Bremen only mustered a 1-1 draw against Hertha Berlin, Lukebakio's 70th minute equaliser denying the home side the three points and Teso his progress into the seventh week.

Bad luck Teso, but with 3rd place confirmed you earn a total of six points this round - five points for correct picks and one bonus point for finishing in 3rd place.

Survivors (2)

@Lucas and @Eco progress to week seven and enter a state of sudden death after making their sixth consecutive correct pick. Our finalists have Koln to thank for their progress, following a 3-0 win over fellow newbies Paderborn.

That puts you each onto six points so far, with at least two more to come from the bonus of finishing 1st or 2nd in this round. Please make your Gameweek Seven picks below, both a match winner and a first goalscorer to come into play in the result of a tie break.

Preview - Gameweek Seven

You know what to do. As this round has spanned two international breaks and multiple pages of the thread, here is a summary of the teams you have each picked to make it this far:

@Lucas - Bayern, Dortmund, Schalke, Leverkusen, Wolfsburg, Koln

@Eco - Frankfurt, Schalke, Leverkusen, Bayern, Gladbach, Koln

Gameweek Seven fixtures start on Friday evening:

Mainz 05 vs 1. FC Koln

Bayern München vs Union Berlin

Hertha Berlin vs TSG Hoffenheim

Freiburg vs RB Leipzig

Schalke 04 vs Borussia Dortmund

Paderborn vs Fortuna Dusseldorf

Bayer Leverkusen vs Werder Bremen

Wolfsburg vs Augsburg

Borussia M'Gladbach vs Eintracht Frankfurt

Good luck!
