  2. We finished 15 points ahead of Peterborough that season. We made the playoffs and they got relegated.
  3. Norwich are going to be in the right place at the right time here aren't they. I can fully sense a repeat of 2019. Leeds win the away leg 0-1 and then go out at home. It's a fascinating playoffs. You have two sides who are quite a bit better than the others that you would fancy to make up the final, but both of them have shown seriously low floors in recent pressure games and I think that'll act as a leveller. I really can't call it. Practically speaking I want Norwich or West Brom up. I think we need the help.
  4. They're doing exactly what we should've done two years ago. Things have gone stale and it probably suits all parties for a parting of ways. He's done well there, a trophy and generally consistently floating around the top half. But it's been pretty uninspired this season, they're like the majority of the league woeful at the back and quite surprising to me they're sat as high as they are. Goal difference is a real red flag. I think it's possible for him to have both done well but be the right time to move on. Exactly where we were at two years ago with Brendan Rodgers - but we were naive beyond belief and didn't act.
  5. The defending in general in the Premier League has been utterly dire this season. It's made for entertaining games but there aren't many good teams this time around.

  8. I am writing this to express my heartfelt appreciation to the team at Fastfund Recovery. It was indeed a fortunate time when my friend recommended the services of this organization to me. I was a victim of fraudulent activities in the world of cryptocurrency and lost a considerable amount of bitcoins to scammers. At first, I was completely hopeless and believed that my stolen bitcoins were gone forever. I had heard that it was impossible to retrieve lost bitcoins. However, my friend insisted that I contact Fastfund Recovery and I must say that it was the best decision that I made. I contacted the team immediately and provided them with all the necessary details and information including the conversion, screenshots of transactions and contact information. I was pleasantly surprised when the team informed me that they could retrieve back my stolen bitcoins. It took them only three hours to achieve the impossible and help me regain my lost bitcoins. I was truly impressed with the level of expertise and professionalism shown by the team at Fastfund Recovery. They completely changed my beliefs about cryptocurrency and its retrieval. Therefore, let me urge anyone who has been a victim of fraudulent activities in cryptocurrency to consult [Fastfundrecovery8 (at) Gmail (dot) com] for assistance. Don’t let those unfortunate scammers run away with your hard-earned money. You can rely on the expertise of Fastfund Recovery to get back whatever you may have lost due to fake investment trading. 11. Didn't see this one, but Sky Sports is generally quite hyperbolic in recent years. And probably because they want certain loyal customers of certain clubs to stay tuned, even when its the battle for the conference league. Reflections on the injustice of being nowhere near the top. And the long term journey back to where they want to be. Perhaps with a different customer base & mindset, there is usually a bit better balance on the neutral & for everyone BBC. But there is definitely a bias toward certain clubs in all media. To be fair, it was pretty much the same case with Liverpool before they were getting 2nd place to City so often. But it can be jarring when a club dismantles a bigger brand on the pitch.
  12. Onana is awful. Mateta goal is powerful but it's at his near post. The last goal ended up in the middle of the net as well. It's always like that isn't it? All because there's probably about 10 United fans waiting to hate watch the post match interviews from their manager and players for every Palace fan who just wants to see the analysis on their team.
  13. They also almost find it ridiculously hard to actually analyse the good parts that Palace do as opposed to the bad parts that Utd do.
  14. Carragher et al on Sky weirdly choosing to totally ignore Evans' shortcomings for the first two Palace goals. Instead choosing to focus on Casemiro and Onana respectively. Not saying they also weren't at fault, but Evans defending there like a competition winner yet it was totally glossed over.
  15. Pretty sure he's giving those examples on purpose because they're famously places where rights for homosexuals/transexuals are horrible lol.
  16. Yeah I agree with @6666 on this one. War crimes are war crimes, they should be challenged and some form of justice should be given to the victims of said war crimes. It doesn't matter who commits those war crimes. The only good thing, and I mean literally the only good thing that came from the US coalition invasion of Iraq was Saddam Hussein facing some accountability for a fraction of his war crimes. And even then, it wasn't really enough - nor did any of the nations that were 10000% complicit in those war crimes really have to pay for what they'd done (in fact, ultimately in the end all they really did was destabilise Iraq enough to let ISIS be born...). So even in instances where there's some semblance of "justice" with regards to horrific crimes against humanity, it's often fractional... and never really comes close to bringing closure for the victims of these crimes. And this minimal sense of justice being dolled out... it only ever really happens too when it's a country and/or person that has ultimately no sway on geopolitics. Saddam Hussein faced justice (for just a fraction of his crimes) because he'd lost control of Iraq and was found hiding in a hole in the ground. Or that guy from Sudan who's currently on trial at the ICC for his crimes in Sudan... he's only on trial because he turned himself in. So the circumstances where Netanyahu and IDF generals actually face some consequences for their crimes... it's just not happening. Generations of Palestinians had their futures stripped away and have been consequently subject to some insane extremism that leads this conflict to be in the perpetual state of violence it's been in. The best time to hold a nation and its leaders accountable for its crimes against humanity is the second it starts happening - but if that's not possible, those crimes should be prosecuted ASAP while the living memory of those crimes is fresh in the memory. Does the fact the US, Russia, and friends, have routinely gotten away with war crimes justify Israeli war crimes? No. Does Hamas not following the rules of war justify Israel not following the rules of war? No (in fact, Israel is a sovereign state - Hamas is a collection of terrorists with corrupt billionaire leaders; it's 100% reasonable to hold Israel to a higher standard than we hold terrorists to. Does the world staying silent on the Uyghurs in China justify Israelis and Palestinians trying to bring genocidal rhetoric to civil discourse on the world stage? No, it doesn't. That others have gotten away with serious crimes against humanity is no fucking reason at all to turn a blind eye to human rights abuses. Israel shouldn't be getting a pass just because other countries with nukes got a pass. War crimes are war crimes, all human rights violations should be punished. And honestly Netanyahu should be thankful that if he does face justice, it'd be at the ICC, rather than at the hands of the generations of Palestinians who's families he's destroyed and who's futures he played a part in stealing. But the chances of him ever facing justice are so minimal, sadly. Because countries that have nuclear weapons (or are good friends with countries that have nuclear weapons) routinely get away with their crimes against humanity. But if the crux of the argument for Israeli war crimes being permissible is: we should only go after Israeli war crimes if we're going to take all war crimes seriously... it's just a shit argument. Yes, we should take all war crimes seriously. "You don't care about Hamas's own crimes against humanity if you want Israel to face consequences for theirs." No, I very much do care about Hamas's crimes against humanity and think they should face consequences just like Netanyahu and IDF leaders should. We should take every crime against humanity seriously. We shouldn't just be picking or choosing what crimes are permissible and what crimes aren't because of biases we might have about a particular conflict. They're crimes against humanity - we're all humans. We don't live in a perfect world, but just accepting the status quo isn't going to make the world any better. The only way for the world to do better is if governments of the world start demanding a better world - and part of that is actually holding countries, even the richest and most powerful countries, accountable for their crimes against all of us. Standing by and justifying the unjustifiable is how people lose their humanity and sends people on a slippery slope towards being violent extremists.
  17. They tried so hard to be the Big City Club and turned into the Big Shitty Club. Not as shitty as Hertha though.
  18. I think that was my favourite night at Selhurst Park. To beat Manchester United 4-0 given everything they represent, regardless of how good they are at present, is a special feeling. It almost doesn't feel real how good we are as a team when Eze and Olise play with each other.
  19. He’s class. Not really sure how he can control a game with no defenders behind him, no midfielders supporting him and nobody in attack.
  20. Is it? If I'd been out all night and switched the tele on right now and seen the score I genuinely don't think I'd bat an eyelid. No word of a lie, I'd be a lot more shocked to see Man Utd go to Selhurst Park and be 3-0 or 4-0 up than this. It's a miracle Man Utd are in the top half to be honest. And the FA Cup final! They look like one of the worst teams in the league whenever I see them and they just seem to be constantly getting battered and embarrassed.
  21. Arsenal must be licking their lips at playing Yanited this weekend
  22. Your natural instinct when you see United losing 3-0 to Palace is to think what the fuck, but I've just seen their back line. Wan Bissaka at left back with Evans and Casemiro at centre back...yeah I'm not surprised it's 3-0 Palace. United have been hit by a plethora of injuries but also 2 Summer's of pretty bad transfer planning (that goes beyond ten Haag) that leads to them playing with a bad defence and then Eriksen at the base with Mainoo....not to mention Antony started. Will be interesting to see how the Summer transfer window goes.
  23. How much worse could United actually do if they just sold every single member of their squad for whatever they could get for them and used the proceeds to start from scratch with a new manager and a new culture?
  24. One of those games where Palace at really, really good and Man Utd are the complete opposite.
