  1. Past hour
  2. With the big jobs on the table it'll be one of those. I seem to remember he was actually making comments about unfinished business at Old Trafford so wouldn't be too surprised to see him there - either that or Bayern/Juve as it's guaranteed silverware. The Turkish clubs would be lucky, would be amazed if he went there considering what slots are open.
  3. Nobody gives a fuck yet everyone's talking about us ..the salts been un-real today lol
  4. The post you literally quoted said there's no discussions about it at all You're allowed a bad period, of course clubs go through transition. But how long is this going to be? Not won a title since 2012? A club like yours shouldn't be relying on domestic cups as success. It's a prolonged period of mediocrity and whenever someone new comes in there just doesn't seem to be the impact made by any of them to get you back to where you're used to...
  5. So funny though, City win a 4th league title and the trot and people would rather ridicule United for the 8th place finish. It will be the same tomorrow at work, nobody gives a fuck about them.
  6. Yeah, but it just shows the obsession with us. We're allowed a bad period you know. Honestly my dad supported through a relegation, people need to get a grip and start looking at clubs that have failed season on season forever before going at United for a few bad seasons. Even during our supposed horrific period since Fergie we have have won ever trophy available other than the Premier league and Champions league. We've got big clubs that haven't won trophies for 30 to 40 years and were big news for having a bad season.
  7. For Man Utd this is seriously bad, no? Lowest ever finish, first time ever minus GD. It's crap.
  8. Today
  9. Big club goes through bad time, it's nothing new you know. Liverpool went from title after title to average side, AC Milan have, Juventus have as well. Madrid even had bad periods. It's almost like the season under Ragnick has been forgotten. We've had a piss poor run of injuries, looking at how Villa and Spurs have been of late I'm convinced we'd be in the top four without the injuries. We've had zero back up to Hojlund and no defence for months now.
  10. I agree with Sheffield United and Burnley being utter shite, but think putting Luton in the same category is a tad harsh when everyone thought they were going to get twatted left, right and centre throughout the season, a squad that was considered much worse than both and more than likely the lowest budget in the league, yet competed far more than either of those. Took 4 points off Newcastle, a point off Liverpool (nearly getting all 3), demolished Brighton at home and almost got a point against Arsenal. Looking at some fixtures, they seemed to be the reverse Ipswich in that they conceded in the dying minutes in games, as opposed to scoring. Just think that you'll be playing these next season.
  11. I am generally happy with the squad selection. Players like the young forward Sikan, who has really improved might be disappointed that he wasn't selected. But then again Vanat has arguably played better than Sikan this season, so it wasn't really surprising that Vanat was called up as the 3rd centre forward behind Dovbyk and Yaremchuk. There are other back-up players who had a good shout at making the squad who weren't chosen, but ultimately the players Rebrov the manager has chosen are just as good. The main thing is that all the key players were selected. The depth in the team looks as strong as it has ever been. The creative quartet of Tsyhankov, Sudakov and Mudryk, supporting La Liga's leading scorer Dovbyk, looks a mouth watering prospect. If the attacking players pick up form and play to their potential at the Euros, they could do some serious damage. I also hope that the left-back Mykolenko recovers from his injury in time to play. While Zinchenko needs to improve his fitness issues and get back to playing how we all know he can play. All in all, it looks a very strong squad that Rebrov is taking with him to Germany.
  12. Man Utd finishing 8th and it not even being a point of discussion says it all.
  13. Growing up I could've never imagined finishing 29pts ahead of Man Utd but still not winning the league.
  14. Credit to Arsenal for holding their nerve and winning their last 6 games. They didn't throw it away, they just made City win it and finishing two points behind is no mean feat. They have actually improved on last years tally by 5pts so they've made another stride forward. To think, City won their last 9 League games, and won 57pts out a possible 63 from Christmas onwards. That's what they had to do to win the league. That's just insane form really. Bar a penalty shootout, you'd 100% have backed them to do a back to back treble too, so what can you do when your up against that? Thank god we've seen the three come up disappear quickly. Luton provided entertainment and fair play to them for that but two teams have been given points deductions and stayed up without any kind of nervous, squeaky bum time moment near the end. That says it all about the quality of the relegated sides. Aston Villa deserve enourmous praise for getting Champions League. They have been brilliant and Villa Park will be excellent under the lights midweek next season. How Emery did that with so many injuries and a wafer thin squad is beyond me. My final message is Chelsea. Pochettino has to stay. He's had one PL defeat since February, got his side to one cup final, nearly two, probably should have been, and for all the bad press and criticism they have had, he's given them belief and confidence to kick on next season. Minus the injuries, they would defintely be in that Top 4 discussion.
  15. Touch of class when he had the crowd sing a song for him. Best times as a Liverpool fan. We may be more successful in terms of trophies in the future, but I can’t see anybody making me feel like he did.
  16. Had to wipe my eyes a few times today. Gutted is an understatement. Given us everything in the last 9 years, leaves an absolute legend and the most important man in football for me in my life time.
  17. They are not the REAL United fans, will be the prawn sandwich mob from London, no Manc United fan would even want us to win a corner ..but loving all the salt today lol, it's the reason i joined the forums in 2008
  18. I'm not upset, you could of beaten us at the Etihad too, you was playing the better football at the time and the way you approached that game is one of the reasons why you are not Champions today, your clubs mentality needs to change if you want to win the title play like Champions
  19. United fans on social media that are glad City won the league because it stopped Arsenal. Weird but it just goes to show what function City play for most football fans. Nobody is actually arsed about them because everyone knows their success is plastic and nobody actually knows any City fans. They just exist as a means to stop teams from winning the league that you don't want. Even my girlfriend's brother who supports Liverpool was saying he'd rather City won it over Arsenal because if Arsenal do you wouldn't hear the end of it (which is odd considering Liverpool fans usually act outraged if neutrals don't line up to back them against Man City in a title race "for the good of football" or whatever, but I digress). It would be brilliant for English football if they get sent packing to at least the Championship following the 115 charges and the whole project fell to pieces.
  20. Won the league but you're still upset that we beat you twice, drew once, and lost zero against you this season. You know your dodgy team doesn't deserve this title.
  21. Congratulations @Michael Thanks for running this @Rucksackfranzose Always good to finish above @Stan & @Tommy
  22. Loved Klopp basically announcing Slot as the next manager. Been some ride with him hasn't it.
  23. Thank you @Rucksackfranzose for organising and running this competition. It was entertaining and I'll be ready to defend my title at the beginning of next season if you continue to run it.
  24. Carragher is so bias it’s beyond parody. Refers to Klopp’s fist pumping as no other manager would have the balls to do it so early on at a club but thought Arteta was smalltime for celebrating a goal. Sky Sports in a nutshell
