  1. This is a bit misconstrued. At Napoli, injuries and his lack of depth is really what caused Sarri to continue to play the same starting XI week after week. Especially last season. When you only have Zielinski and the ghost of Christian Maggio to call upon, reckon any manager would of done what he did.

  2. The Music during news headlines is added so that the viewers precieve the news with aggression, anger , anxiety and excitement. Without Music people will take news more calmly and think before forming an opinion. Psychology

  3. No direct quotes nor any official club statements. Definitely credible. But what do I know, I'm just in my 20's ~

  4. @BartraPique1932 I think it’s misguided to attach idpol to leftism necessarily. Idpol is to me apolitical in the sense that it can be coopted by all kinds of people. You can have centre-right neolibs like Clinton using it, the alt-right types in the states are up to their necks in identity politics, except they don’t realise that being anti-diversity is as much idpol as being pro-diversity is. I think that it’s important to realise that leftism should be about trying to draw a majoritarian solidarity, and that minority concerns can only be understood when they are part of chipping away at the fundamental material division in the world: the vast, working majority versus the tiny oligarchical minority. Things like fights against differences between executive pay between men and women don’t tackle any real injustice in the world. Campaigns to equalise the genders at the peak of the pyramid are not progressive - in fact their material effect is to seek to normalise and moralise the basic division of wealth whilst ignoring the most egregious inequality - that of the shareholding rentiers in the corporate structure vs the actual value-generating employees who have almost no control. And that’s just one example. I think people on the left need to be wary of confusing actual progressive politics with ridiculous liberal self-indulgence and individualism.

  5. @Devon Von Devon Going to a few games next summer including India vs Pakistan at Old Trafford. I think it's between England and India as to who comes out on top. England's batting line-up is ridiculous and we saw recently how much spin can play a part if you have someone decent. England have about 5 or 6 big hitters and you only need a few of them to hit some form and you'll be looking at a challenging score to chase (or you need to set one to make it challenging for them) - the talent and ability of Buttler, Stokes, Bairstow, Hales, Roy, Morgan and even Root is something most teams would love. And then you have players like Ali who'll happily smack you around the ground if need be. You mention it too but I wouldn't rule out Pakistan unless there's some controversy to put you off - the Champions Trophy really put you back in the limelight and the young squad you have would be even more prepared for next summer you'd think so I wouldn't write you off just yet.

  7. Yeah I forgot to comment on that and it's something which I noted during the game, obviously the players are still getting use to the new style. Wouldn't surprise me if Bakayoko's mistake was down to the new playing style as well, I don't think I've ever saw him once attempt a one touch pass last season, seemed to always need one or two touches to get himself set but Sarri is all about triangles and moving the ball quickly. As for Kante he'll play a bit further forward, Jorginho will play the deeper role no doubt. Kante's distribution and ability on the ball isn't what Sarri and the system needs there. Kante's pressing, energy and athleticism will be used further forward and there's actually some evidence in his career so far to suggest that he actually suits that role a lot more, rather than being shoehorned into a solely defensive positional role as we've seen with us and France in the past. However, yeah interesting to see how Kante is used and how he performs. I think we lack a top striker (since Costa's departure) but Morata deserves another season to show his worth and we have other options there if need be. The two positions that worry me are at full back, I don't know how Azpi will perform in a more open system at right back and everyone knows my thoughts on Alonso. Moses was brought on further forward by Sarri last night so interesting to see his role this coming season as well. Moses mind was also used a lot by Conte as a right winger in Conte's first few months as manager. The other is the third midfield position, you can't rely on Fabregas to be starting every week throughout the season, Barkley we don't know which way he'll go and I doubt the new manager will trust Ruben Loftus-Cheek there. Finally the first eleven on the starting day is going to be interesting, I know we have players coming back late from the World Cup but Sarri very much likes to keep continuity with the starting eleven and doesn't rotate too much.

  8. Went to watch England vs India at Trent Bridge yesterday. Good atmosphere sitting with Bharat Army (equivalent of Barmy Army for England). Good game of cricket too although expected England to get several more runs. India won with ease in the end. Rohit Sharma is different level sometimes. Love watching him bad. Yadav getting 6-25 is ridiculous too. Met Yadav, Chahal and Shreyas Iyer after the game in a restaurant as well. Ended up going to casino with them. They're whipping out £50 notes and I'm sitting there with my fivers Good fun though, they spent time with us which not many players would do.

  9. This is why I think that most cat owners are cretins who should be put down. Stoats(or is it @Storts? ) are amazing and serve a great purpose, they are an important part of the ecosystem and people are allowing their pet to kill them? Absolute cunts. The comments on youtube praising it due to the fact that Stoats kill rabbits are also retards. A cat itself would kill a rabbit, the only difference is, a stoat kills a rabbit to feed its family, not for fun because it's a vermin flea ridden pest. Cats are allowed to kill anything they want, but if a big angry Rottweiler was to rip a cat to shreds, it would be deemed dangerous and put down. They kill everything. Stoats, songbirds, voles, etc. No wonder why you see a lot less songbirds these days entering gardens. People blame birds of prey and even crows and Magpies, but these are animals that have been living on the same planet as songbirds since before humans existed. It's domesticated cats that are creating the imbalance as every cunt has one these days and they just release them into the wild where they do what they want. Speaking of Stoats, watch this:- They are amazing.
