  1. I forgot about Russell and jumped Norris into his position as a junior driver. You're absolutely right. With Russell affiliated to Mercedes I can see them parachuting him into a Williams for next year in that case. Unless they no longer have Mercedes engines in which case fuck me for forgetting and being too lazy to check. Either Alonso does another year at McLaren then or Vandoorne survives one more year.

  2. Saw that Hamilton post on Twitter. Didn't turn the volume on, he's a weird cunt . Next years grid though: Mercedes - Hamilton and Bottas Ferrari - Vettel and Leclerc Red Bull - Verstappen and Gasly Renault - Ricciardo and Hulkenberg Haas - Magnussen and Ocon Force Canada - Perez and Stroll McLaren - Sainz and Norris Toro Rosso - Hartley and some rookie Sauber - Giovinazzi and Ericsson Williams - Sirotkin and someone else with money.

  3. There is a lot of quality within the youth ranks that have potential to do big things. The problem is, do the club have the patience these days? There is high pressure on managers to win trophies and this makes it difficult for them. With Digne leaving though, this now leaves a spot for one to step into, as Alba needs back-up in that position and I reckon Valverde will want to rest and rotate more in the league this season. It looks as though that man will be Juan Miranda, who has a lot of potential and has impressed in pre-season. I do personally believe that giving the position to Cucurella might have been more ideal though currently due to age. Miranda looks as though he has even more potential than Cucurella and is impressing a lot more, although at 18 it could be rushing him. Maybe a season in the B team would have made more sense first? Then again, he is a real talent and maybe he is ready to be a part of the first team set-up. Let's also note that Miranda recently signed a new deal for 3 years, with a clause of 200 million euros. This shows the club's intentions of keeping the most talented young players. Oriol Busquets himself now has a huge clause if I'm not mistaken. There is hope.

  4. Missions (2017) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6445112/ "The series focuses on the crew of a European collaboration spaceship which, with the funding of an eccentric Swiss billionaire, has designs on being the first manned craft to land on Mars. Much to the dismay of all on board however, just before the culmination of their 10-month journey to the Red Planet they are made aware of a video sent by a NASA ship that has overtaken them and already landed on the planet thanks to a revolutionary engine technology that cut the travel time to a fraction of what it was for the Europeans. The bad news doesn’t end there however, as the tape contains a cryptic warning from the Americans pleading with the crew not to land as something far too dangerous is happening on the surface. The crew then learns that the tape was sent days before and there has been no contact with the Americans since. The first episode ends with the crew managing a less than ideal landing on the surface of the planet and a cliffhanger promising there is more to the show than a simple jaunt through the solar system." Science fiction the way it should be, Kubrick would have loved it. And I think at least some of you would enjoy it too. @Bluewolf @Tommy @Viva la FCB

  6. Shame about Vlasic who looked good when he joined but seemed to get worse with every game he played. Sums up the Walsh/Koeman approach. Oh he played well against us in a Europa League game we should probably buy him. Embarrassing. Williams another shite signing who was passable for about 6 months but is now a 33 year old eating up at least 80k a week with multiple years left on his contract. Superb long term planning from old Ron and Steve. Mirallas being around the club is also their responsibility. Gave the lad a five year contract because why? Martina also a laughable signing. Couldn't make Southampton's bench so an absolute disgrace he ended up starting a dozen games for Everton last season after we spent all that money and ended up with him as our second choice left back. This one sort of gets a pass as he was a free transfer and the lad did okay on occasion but nowhere near good enough for Everton. It's amazing that some of our fans expect Brands and Silva to just be able to come in and start sorting this out in one or two transfer windows. People that support other clubs and even some Everton fans don't realise just what a good job Walsh and Koeman managed to do in three transfer windows of fucking the club for the next several years. The bad signings last summer were bad enough but look at some of the contracts handed out to average or shite players and it just beggars belief that these two were ever allowed to have so much control over finances.

  7. A word on the attendance. 101k. The two biggest clubs by an absolute country mile. Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea are absolute tinpot compared to these two.
