  1. Had some nice weather last week, albeit bloody cold, so took a trip down to Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove on the Jurassic coast of Dorset. Always looks amazing in the sun.

  2. Only going to the gym once a week at the moment but I'm eating a lot better too and managed to lose 24 pounds in about 2/3 months so really happy with that.

  5. Uuuh yes. I made Sauerbraten last week and marinated it for 5 days and then cooked it for 2-3 hours. It is very tender when you do it right.

  6. Don't like Schweinshaxe either. As for Sauerbraten, never had one where the meat had cardboard texture It's supposed to be tender and fall apart in your mouth, so I'd guess it was either an unsuitable cut or too short marinating time...

  7. Thanks mate. The diet has been easier than I expected. I've completely cut chocolate and crisps which were my kryptonite and generally making sure I don't 'pig out' on things like I used to. That coupled with more exercise and making sure I move around a lot more during the day plus drinking more water as you say, it's really made a difference. It's done wonders for my mental health too. I'm sleeping better and waking up in a much better mood.

  8. Interestingly the WHO has now advised against lockdowns, saying they do more damage than good and don't do much, if anything, to control or stop the virus. https://www.news.com.au/world/coronavirus/global/coronavirus-who-backflips-on-virus-stance-by-condemning-lockdowns/news-story/f2188f2aebff1b7b291b297731c3da74

  10. I enjoyed AFL to an extent, there is a beauty in it. But it is also just a lot of headless chickens clamouring after a ball that bounces everywhere. Gaelic football is so much better, as is the Gaelic/AFL crossover. On the topic of late Uni entries, I’ll be 30 this year and be heading to Uni next year. Never too late to pursue something like that, I don’t specifically know which job I would like, but I’m hoping to study either Sociology or Social Sciences. Eventually would like to be involved with community work in areas that need it.

  11. Interview with Dr. Marko. Very interesting read. https://f1-insider.com/en/formula1/marko-own-engine-and-hulkenberg-a-topic/ A short summary of most interesting things: - RB are most likely to take over Honda's IP and build the engine themselves. - 3 out of 4 seats next season are pretty much decided - Gasly & Tsunoda for AT, Max for RB. Albon's future uncertain, they are also considering Hülkenberg and Perez. Want to make the decision after Turkish GP. - Hülkenberg almost drove for RB this weekend, as Albon had an inconclusive corona test result. - Mick Schumacher is set to drive for Sauber. Almost made his F1 debut this weekend as Giovinazzi's corona test was also inconclusive.
