  1. Media and paparazzi have no morals at all do they? It's not as if she's in the wrong or the one that cheated. I saw a clip of an article from the Daily Mail (yes, I know) saying something along the lines of 'it was hard to tell her mood because of the oversized sunglasses'. Yes, one really does wonder what kind of mood someone will be in when they've seen their slimy cunt of a husband cheat on them and be exposed for the whole world to see.

  2. Won 7:0 against Lohne in the first pre-season match; Bittencourt, Füllkrug, Dinkci, Niklas Schmidt (2x), Philipp, Eggestein on the scoresheet. What's interesting is the formation - we're playing a 4-1-4-1, with both fullbacks playing very narrow, often moving to the center of the pitch and getting involved in the build-up, the defensive midfielder falling back into defence, the two central midfielder playing a very high line, almost like attacking midfielders, then the two winger playing very wide, and finally a striker upfront. Looked very good, even if it's against a weak opponent. Kyu-Hun Park made a very good impression; hope we will finalise his transfer in the next few days. Strong, robust, good technique and vision. Will be interesting to see how he does in friendlies against stronger clubs, but looks very promising so far. As for other youth players, I thought Nankishi, Woltemade, Dinkci, Niklas Schmidt and Philipp looked pretty good, too. Also, I hope Bittencourt will not be allowed to take another corner or free kick.

  3. True I would imagine when you saw them enjoying the sea and playing some games, supping bottles of whisky and what not then going back into reality and battle with the horror of war, I can remember my old man who was in the subs during WWII telling us stories of pulling dead bodies out of the water all bloated up and one particular young lad who had just arrived straight from training and when they turned the body over looking for an ID for records and forward onto beloved ones the dead person groaned because all of the seawater in their body, the young rating fainted on the spot. Then my tours of duty and walking into mortuaries as part of our duties the things you saw in there I would not describe in here and I still get small flashbacks to this day as they are still there in the back of my mind. Then you would have a few hours off and sometimes even a whole day where we would try and keep ourselves amused as we were not allowed around the City Center (Belfast) as it was too dangerous, one amusement we did was have a 'Hillbilly Fight' as we called it in the corridor, our room consisted of 6 of us in bunk beds and we called our room 'The Rednecks', the room opposite us was 6 other guys called 'The Suckets'. You would be lying on your bed and a knock would come on the door with a guy from the Suckets room and would say in an American Hillbilly tone "Us Suckets want a battle with your lot in 5 minutes..." which we accepted then all hell was broken loose for 10 minutes with guys kicking shite of each other, no holds barred with our Troop Sgt Major and Captain looking on both laughing their balls off when they thought it was getting too messy with the blood they would end the Hillbilly fight with buckets of water all over us which we knew that it was time to clear up the mess and recover from our wounds.

  4. He has tremendous natural talent in terms of skill and dribbling ability, but his end product is woeful and he's very inconsistent. Not to mention, all it takes is a gust of wind and he's injured and he has a poor attitude on top of that. For me, it's time to get rid if possible. His contract also runs out next year and it doesn't seem like he has any desire to renew. With Fati back and looking physically in great shape, the signing of Depay and Collado deserving to step up to the first team, it's probably for the best to get rid of Dembèlè. He needs a chance. It's time to prioritise La Masia and bringing in young talent like Pedri and Dest, and get rid of the deadwood. It also helps bringing in a bit of experience like Agüero, as he's not being brought in as first choice, but more to add depth and experience like Larsson back in the mid-00s. The problem at Barcelona isn't a lack of young talent, but the economic problems, which could lead some of these young players in leaving the club. But if hadn't been for the erratic transfer policy under Bartomeu, spending ridiculous amounts of money on crap, then the problem wouldn't be as severe in the first place. La Masia is among the best youth set ups in world football and is proven to produce success. That along with bringing in some top scouts to find young talent is the way forward for the club for me.

  5. The wife listens to too much shite on Facebook with people ranting on you could end up dead bla, bla, bla having a booster and I told her that "Stop believing all the bull shit you read on Facebook..." I would be a top priority with my age plus I have asthma, COPD, sciatica and a heart failure condition so I would have it just in case we get a new virus from outer space next!!!!

  6. While it's somewhat refreshing to see one of this lot leave the cabinet after doing something wrong, it still sits uncomfortably that it's essentially his private life that's brought him down, not the poor decisions throughout the pandemic or the dodgy procurement deals or even that his lover's brother has received large NHS contracts since he started his affair with her. I actually don't mind Sajid Javid who is the new health secretary. He resigned as Chancellor shortly after the election on some sort of principle which is more than can be said for a lot of the government. Also interested to see what impact this has on polling and the perception of Johnson who is a well known love rat himself. I imagine we won't see much impact but at some point there will be a straw that breaks the camel's back.
