Anyone who likes freezing cold weather is an absolute weirdo. When I went to Harbin and it was -10 through -20... I absolutely fucking hated it. It would make the oils in my beard fucking freeze over anytime I was outside, absolutely bloody miserable.

Good on them. Government have screwed them (and other workers) for far too long and I admire them for taking a stand and I don't doubt it's an easy decision for them to take. But government constantly refuse to play ball. They have no problem finding enough resources from the magic money tree to fund other comparatively less important things, but when it comes to paying people what they deserve in line with inflation, suddenly they find it difficult. Important enough to clap for them on the doorstep and save lives, but not important enough to be paid properly, according to government.

Then that's me, I love freezing cold weather with plenty of snow...

The coldest temperature I have ever experienced was below -30, haha. So while I hate cold weather, especially when it's also humid and windy, -9 sounds like a pretty mild winter

I'm up and out to the office at 7am and this morning whilst defrosting my car my hands were actually in pain with the cold. I had to run back in the house to run them under warm water. I'd go as far as saying it's the coldest I've ever felt it in my lifetime. How on earth do these poor homeless survive in these temperatures?
