  1. I've decided not to renew my season ticket, 16yrs of going the game coming to and end in a month or two. The love of football and Everton has evaporated to the point where clinging onto it is only affecting my mental well-being in a negative way. I just don't have the heart anymore to still hold on. I'll be putting my energy and new found spare time into my family. The Premier League, $ky, Moshiri, Kenwright and all the other absolute car crash bollocks has totally done me in, to the point where I'll be getting my football fix from my local Sunday League team (I have two clubs a 10 minute walk from me in the North West Counties League) and on the TV via FC Porto (the team of my wife's family). So sad that looking around for forum, so many are in the same boat. Football has been killed for the "historic" fan. Totally dead.

  2. I feel like if anything Mudryk would scare off other premier league sides from paying a steep asking price for a promising young Ukrainian. Mudryk has potential sure, but at 23... I'd say he looks some way off a lot of other younger players who have potential and do offer more consistency and quality. Look at Palmer at Chelsea, for example. Less than half the price of Mudyrk... and he's 1.) looking like he's got more potential than Mudryk, 2.) is performing at a much higher level than Mudryk. Not to say that Mudryk is a particularly bad player or anything - I just think he made a big step up and the prices Arsenal and Chelsea thought were reasonable now look like a massive overinflation in value; I think he's a player that sort of tells a cautionary tale to other clubs in England about spending over the odds on a player from that league and expecting the transition to be seemless. It's not so much that I can't see us spending that much on one player. I think we'll be in for very few players this summer, assuming we keep our big names, and chances are the players we bring in will be very expensive. It's just that at 21 years old and in a position where we've already got several promising young players, some of whom have made their debuts this season... it doesn't really make sense to pay anywhere near that amount for a player that's likely going to need a lot of time to adapt to the league. Harvey Elliott, for instance, is only 20 years old - so he's younger. He plays in the same sort of position and role. And he's already got a shitload of appearances for us and is developing nicely this season. Does it make sense to spend a lot of money, slow his development (and the development of other younger players like Carvalho, Koumas, etc) when we've got other areas of the squad to address?

  3. From now on, the only question which should be asked of any figure in British politics about the Gazan war is "how many British lives are Israel's war goals worth?" Because for most, it is evidently more than 3, and I think the British public deserve to know which of their leaders think their lives are expendable for the sake of Israeli objectives.

  5. Nazi Israel murdering aid workers. Not a surprise. If you're Palestinian, they'll kill you. If you're trying to help a Palestinian, they'll kill you. Destroying everything in site and then insanely delusional (or downright evil) people have the nerve to suggest Nazi Israel only has good intentions. Genocidal scum.

  6. Hopefully Luton can beat Forest to staying up, it'd be great to see how they do next season under Edwards with a bit more investment.

  9. Today I made a Low Carb Big Mac Roll The "dough" is just Skyr (German Quark), eggs, cheese and a bit of sesame. The filling is ground beef, pickles, tomatoes and more cheese with a burger sauce made out of ketchup, mayo and mustard.
