  1. It is a strange situation with Kane.... Clearly loves the club and I would give him a massive thumbs up for his loyalty and I am pretty sure the fans will love him forever no matter what happens now but maybe he is just one of them people that is happy in his comfort zone regardless of silverware?? Plays every game he is fit, loved by the club and fans and earning a decent wage playing football in one of the most competitive leagues in the world what's not to love about that?? I would one day love to be rich but if I never win something decent before I die I would still be a happy man, sometimes it's about more than money and glittering prizes..
  2. Ok so.. Having seen us in pre-season I am convinced that Poch has managed to get some feel good factor back into the side... We are no-where near the finished article obviously and we have a lot of new faces and maybe a few more before the window closes.. I suspect that getting back into some European football is the minimum requirement for him this season if not pushing for a top 4 place.. Realistically I am prepared to write games off against City, Liverpool, Arsenal & Utd as they are in a better place than we are currently and would be be pleasantly surprised if we can get any kind of result against them.. Tough games would be against the likes of Brentford, Villa, Newcastle, Spurs & Brighton perhaps but not unwinnable.. and hopefully we are able to take points off the majority of remaining teams.. With the advantage of not playing European football in theory we should be well rested between games but that doesn't always help with runs of form.. If we can be pushing for top 6 I would be happy and if we can get top 4 even better.. A bit too early for that though I reckon but happy to be surprised..

Sorry to hear about your loss mate..
  5. Oh for fucks sake... Middlesboro then...
  6. Nice... That hopefully puts any departure rumours to bed now.. great news for us!
  7. Sadly it's just the tip of the iceburg... Those figures are down from 7Mill the year before and 9Mill the year before that... They do deserve more than a kicking on that we can agree.. I just found out in that recent court case against Matt Hancock that he lost and the articles written about him at the time were allowed to say he was a 'corrupt' politician and a 'failed' Health Minister, It also turns out that his family owned shares in a company that was awarded vast sums of money through that fast tracking PPE scheme during Covid that he failed to declare at the time.. Add on top of that the Johnson debacle where he was allowed to use 250K of tax payers money on solicitors to defend the indefensible when the cunt is sitting on a 5Mill fortune.. The fact he was found to have lied the whole time should mean he has to pay it all back, If it was up to me I would give them all jail time.. The whole system needs a proper shake up, It's not fit for purpose anymore..
  8. 2-0 up at half time against Fulham... Silva & Nkunku with the goals..
  9. They really do take the fucking piss with everything they do... Boozy MPs and their staff downed almost £500k worth of subsidised alcohol in a year including 46,500 pints (msn.com) 6.4 Million was spent in total subsidising our Government in meals and booze alone last year... They all need a good kicking..
  10. Decent match against Brighton last night.... We did well to bounce back from an early goal down and after Brighton had a player sent off it was all us.. In all honesty we still have a lot to do defensively as that Pedro was causing all kinds of problems for our defence and they got back into it late on but not quite enough to draw level.. Brighton are a decent team and had much better of the play over the 90 minutes if I was honest but at the moment it's all about that feel good factor for us prior to the season kicking off and Poch will no doubt be juggling the team around trying to find his best 11.. Really liking Jackson, quick, knows where the goal is and unselfish play to allow others in where he can.. Sterling could learn a thing or two from him about team play..
