  1. Feels like we are going through treacle at the moment but once one is completed I am sure others will fall into place..
  2. Well we know that's not true.... If we told you that the letter A on the sign 'This is Anfield' was a bit wonky compared to the others you would probably burst a blood vessel...
  3. Something I have noticed about two players we are linked with both wanting guarantees of playing time prior to any potential signing.. Both Sterling and Dembele have almost said the same thing... Thing is I don't think it's a guarantee that can be given at any point other than to get them to sign on the dotted line... Also I am not sure how any footballer playing for a top 6 club could be expected to have such a luxury.. Any top 6 six club is going to be fighting for a lot of things in any one season and that's a lot of games where rotation is crucial in a side under normal circumstances and that does not include if the player in question is in form... If they want to be playing games week in and week out they need to lower their expectations and maybe join a side like United or Arsenal..
  4. Swimming's world governing body has voted to effectively ban transgender athletes from competing in women's elite races. FINA will explore establishing an "open" category for them in some events as part of its new policy. The move will require transgender competitors to have completed their transition by the age of 12 in order to be able to compete in women's competitions. The policy was passed with a roughly 71% majority after it was put to the members of 152 national federations with voting rights who had gathered for the congress at the Puskas Arena.
  5. Amazing... Thanks to 'Stranger Things' Kate Bush has hit the number 1 slot in the charts after it's initial release way back in 1985 Her song is played as Max (Sadie Sink) tries to escape the evil clutches of the villainous Vecna, and fans have been streaming the track since watching the thrilling scene. After the episode made its way onto Netflix, the song has been streamed around the world by fans of the show and convinced even those who don't watch the show to listen to return to this amazing 80s British hit. Kate said she was “overwhelmed by the scale of affection and support” for her iconic song, and thanked Stranger Things creators The Duffer Brothers for “bringing the song into so many people’s lives”. “By featuring Running Up That Hill in such a positive light, as a talisman for Max (one of the main female characters), the song has been brought into the emotional arena of her story,” she said in a statement. “I have to admit I feel really moved by it all. Thank you so very much for making the song a No 1 in such an unexpected way,” Kate added.

    Cooking

Quite the cook.... 2 and a half hours though... pretty sure I would have died of starvation before it was ready...
  7. If it means they lose their heads then I am all for it....
  8. I enjoyed it.. just the right amount of humour coupled with the serious issues of how even dead people can be exploited in an afterlife world..
  9. A lot probably... I would get in early and get a petition up before it gets out of hand
  10. This is crazy stuff.... A woman has won $5.2m (£4.1m) from an insurance firm after claiming she contracted a sexually transmitted infection in a car it had a policy on. The claimant, a woman from Missouri only being identified as MO, says she had sex with her partner in a car insured by the company Geico. According to court documents, she claims this resulted in her catching HPV (human papillomavirus) because the man failed to tell her he had the infection. HPV can lead to cervical cancer if left untreated and can also result in genital warts. In February last year MO told Geico, a firm based in Maryland, she planned to sue them for $1m because the man's policy with them should have covered for her "injuries and losses". Geico refused to pay out for the settlement, instead claiming her "injury" did not occur as a result of "normal use of the vehicle". An arbitrator later ruled she should be given $5.2m in damages. The woman then filed a motion to Jackson County Court seeking to claim her damages money. On Thursday a three-judge panel of the Missouri Court of Appeals upheld her claim after various appeals by Geico. But the firm says it is planning a federal lawsuit to argue the woman was not covered by her boyfriend's insurance policy. In a statement on Thursday Geico said the lawsuit would determine if "there is coverage in this matter".

Police are hunting a man accused of approaching several girls, removing their shoes and sniffing their feet in an act of fetishism. Avon and Somerset Police has since issued an e-fit of what the man from the Bristol incidents is thought to look like. The reported incidents in the two areas are as follows: Churchdown, near Gloucester, on November 21, 2021 Yate, near Bristol, on January 14, 2022 Yate, near Bristol, on March 21, 2022 Chipping Sodbury, near Bristol, on May 26, 2022 Churchdown, near Gloucester, on May 27, 2022 It is not known whether the same man is responsible for all five incidents or they are unrelated. 12. This made me laugh... Ian Blackford called Boris Johnson a "lame duck" prime minister and said that 41 per cent of Tory MPs were backing him in calling for his resignation. The SNP leader said that when he had previously been met with a "wall of noise" in the House of Commons when he called for the PM to step down he initially thought Tory MPs were shouting him down. "All this time, it turns out that 41 per cent of them have actually been cheering me on," Blackford said.
  13. This idiot is as see through as a pint glass... Boris Johnson told broadcasters: "I think this is a very good result for politics and for the country." He added it was "a convincing result, a decisive result, and what it means is that as a Government we can move on and focus on the stuff that I think really matters to people".
  14. They said he would probably win it regardless.. It was obviously too much to ask that they do the right thing by the public. The margin of the victory is the telling point for his future prospects though... Sad that they don't have faith in anyone else to take over from him which shows what a poor position they are in really so now they are propping up someone who is clearly unfit for the role.. Totally incompetent leadership but he will try and spin it as a resounding victory and will be telling everyone that he will now get on delivering what the public want.. His head on a plate is what we want and I would think that's becoming all to obvious now but we won't get that now will we... not for a while at least
  15. That Nadine Dorries doesn't half get on my tits as well.... Wanking Johnson off at every opportunity.. "There were more cheers than boos but that doesn't make a good headline" Tone deaf to the public mood.. just like the rest of the Boris Johnson arse lickers..
  16. Let the Tory lemmings fall to their doom that's what I say....
