  1. That's why they won't do it over here and why they will do all they can to prevent that kind of change because exposing poor decision making means that they are then forced to deal with the problems. As it stands it's a case of shut up and put up, they can have poor performances and still be doing key roles like making VAR decisions with no comebacks at the moment which probably suits them just fine... no accountability whatsoever...

  5. Totally agree about the ban on swearing.. They can't keep hiding behind the things that can be controlled like bans for swearing etc and it would also discourage players from gathering around the ref when things get a little heated, I don't see any reason why they couldn't just open up that communication channel once the ref is alone by the pitch side monitor for example when there is no-one else around him so it's just him and the guy in VAR talking... Once that discussion has taken place and we all know what's going on they can turn it off and the ref can make his decision accordingly...

I am sure they are just taking precautions which is the right thing to do... I did laugh when my boss said he was only thinking of my health but then asked me to make sure all the equipment was sorted before I left today which took a further 45 minutes to complete... It just feels like a typical cold/flu that I might normally get this time of year but they have taken me through everything on the phone and the website and I have been asked to book a test so I have...

I know.. I have principles you know... I had a bit of a row with my boss over it this morning, He asked me how I was and I told him I was fine and he went on and on about how I didn't sound fine etc and that he thought I should go home but I wasn't having it... We are short of staff as well. It's just a bog standard cold/flu and I normally work my through it so I was less than impressed when he went to HR and they said send me home... I have had it since Saturday and I have all the normal things, Sore throat, Chesty cough etc.. but no difficulty breathing or high temperature, loss of taste or smell or any of that... I was actually a bit annoyed, I did tell him that maybe they might like to help me across the road while their at it...
  8. See that's a lot better than what we have over here... That's what we need, all this hiding away and no comments or justifications for the calls are just causing more issues

  13. He has got a bit of a slating from some fans and Darren Bent about his performances so far this season.. Former Premier League striker Darren Bent has hit out at Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for his form since signing a new lucrative contract with Arsenal. "It's not the fact he hasn't scored a goal, it's the performances," Bent said. "Before he signed his contract he was absolutely everywhere - running back, tracking back, putting tackles in, breaking forward. There was a real hunger and intensity to his game. "At the minute, you can see there's been a massive drop off. I don't know if it's coincided with the new contract, but you can tell that he's not playing with the same intensity that he had before. "When you focus so much on getting a new deal like Aubameyang did, you'll run that extra yard and make that extra effort. "When he sits down now and analyses his performances before and after the contract he'll see that there's been a massive change." Aubameyang also risked the wrath of Arsenal supporters when he was seen smiling and laughing with City's Ilkay Gundogan at full-time at the Etihad, with many upset that he did not seem too upset by the defeat.
  14. Also Liverpool can't just keep throwing tons of money at their problems, they will just have to dig deep and use what they have..
  15. I enjoy reading all the details but I won't lie I doubt I would have the time to invest in such a hobby to the degree you do... I tend to point and click with my phone, look at the results and think " Well that turned out shit" then delete it... I have seriously thought about getting a telescope though but reckon I would have to tell the missus I got it to spy on the neighbours because I don't think she would believe I got it to look at the moon and night sky in more detail..
  16. I can imagine... I used to try and take pictures of the moon on clear nights in the garden with my phone but they always came out poor compared to how clear and bright it was just looking straight at it
  17. The Clarity.... amazing
  18. That's going to have a pretty big impact on your season now..
  19. I can see why you are still single now...
  20. I see they put Egypt's Navy out front of the military parade there....
