  1. Mourinho has such a big ego that he expects everything to be perfect and go his way which obviously will never happen which leads to him being permanently irate.
  2. I played Ultimate Team for about a week. Built an okay side but now don't see the point. After getting loads of free packs for the early challenges it's become a massive grind to improve the team further. Also having to pay extra for PlayStation Plus to play online with my team put me off. Then started a career with Sandefjord in Norway. Decent fun. Finished 6th in the first season and like the structure of career mode. Playing on World Class, briefly bumped it up to Legendary when I was 2nd mid season (Bit stupid as Sandefjord are newly promoted and their first ever season in the top flight). This was a bitch to play on so I went back to World Class after a few games and struggled to get my form back. Second season has started with three wins and a draw back on World Class. My first FIFA for many versions and I'm enjoying it.

Isle of Man is just getting the outer layer of the hurricane, unpleasant.
  5. Charles Leclerc is the F2 champion, expect to see him in a Sauber next year.
  6. Great game. Tried the Game of Thrones mod? Played more hours on that than the original version.
  7. Bought FIFA last night for the first time since about 2010. Interested to see what the fuss is on Ultimate Team etc.
  8. Dagenham v Orient worth a watch. Will they put one or two ties on BT or anything this early?
  9. Would Chelsea fans have taken a win at Atletico and a loss to City at the start of the week?
  10. It's just hilarious these days, too much pressure in the England job for a man like Southgate who at the end of the day has absolutely no credentials to be in charge of a national team of England's stature to take any risks. Imagine if he called up 6-8 uncapped players from the successful youth squads and there was even a single poor result. Instantly up for the sack. You need someone established as a world class manager who is also inclined to take risks like I'm talking about when picking the squads. Good luck finding a manager like that, and have fun trying to find one that has any interest in managing England. Can't think of many jobs in world football where the pressure and expectation is so far out of whack with what is physically attainable with the players available.

  12. Seb starts from the back. But anything can happen still.
  13. There's such a dearth of decent England players that if you actually picked the best squad based on current form you'd potentially be picking from the Championship too.
  14. Kvyat has been a dead man walking in F1 since getting dropped that Red Bull. He's not going to make it. I don't mind him but rather see some new blood in the field.

  16. Since posting this one week ago, Niasse has scored 3 goals from 3 shots in 59 minutes on the pitch. Someone made a funny but true tweet today, about how Niasse could never score for Everton again but probably go out in Liverpool 20 years from now and get bought a drink by any Evertonian while our record premier league scorer Lukaku would "probably get chinned".
  17. Ive been wondering, what happened to Gendry in the end? He didn't go to Kings Landing with Jon and co, he wasn't seen at Eastwatch with Tormund and Beric in the finale, was he in the castle? An off screen death seems unlikely after they bothered to bring him back, did they just somehow forget to write in where he ended up?
  18. There is a payoff in Littlefinger dying at the hands of Sansa (and Bran). His interest in Sansa was his only irrational weakness in the show and his pursuit of her brought him down. Just like Neds honour, Robb marrying for love, Stannis being obsessed with becoming king at all costs, Tywins hatred for Tyrion etc. Just because LF was smarter than these characters in his own way, doesn't mean he should he impervious to his weaknesses. As for Varys, his role in the story is as a pro-Targaryen conspirator. He was forced to leave Kings Landing and surrender his influence because he freed Tyrion so all that's left is to join Daenerys. It's a shame he becomes a bit part character late on but the same has happened to many other characters. At least they didn't just kill him off because they don't need him anymore like they've done with other characters (e.g. Barristan).
  19. Most exciting thread title in TF365 history.
