Subscriber Dan+ Posted December 27, 2019 Subscriber Posted December 27, 2019 I do think the scheduling is a bit overkilled to be honest and it's likely to produce a horrendous set of games, including ours which I expect to be a bit of a slog - I do think we'll win though despite the toss served up in the last few games, we have issues but they aren't as big as West Ham's - they are truly dog shit and anything less than a win would be disappointing. Will be very interested to see what his XI is for this. It's got to change a bit.
Fairy In Boots Posted December 27, 2019 Posted December 27, 2019 Massive game for us, apparently Mings maybe back and we’ve struggled massively without him. His vocal presence has resulted in a real loss of confidence
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 27, 2019 Subscriber Posted December 27, 2019 Winnable game. A draw more likely.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted December 28, 2019 Subscriber Posted December 28, 2019 Heard a rumour we're making 9 changes, everyone bar Schmeichel and Evans. I'll believe it when it happens but absolute madness if true.
Honey Honey Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 The atmosphere this season has been the worst in the clubs history by far. The ground is full of zombie fans. Passion barely exists. The only voice you hear is Martin Dubravka's. The football hasn't been good enough to get people pumped up and it hasn't been bad enough to get a groaning noise. It's all dead. Today is the first game with the 10,000 free season ticket holders. A full stadium. We shall see if those 10,000 will bring a bit of passion and encouragement to the ground or not. On the footballing front we made big changes for the Man Utd game to rest Hayden, Shelvey and Carroll for this one. The next 4 days for me will determine whether we are just a team pursuing 40 points or whether we could feasibly finish top half with this style of play.
Honey Honey Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 I've not seen us this on top for this long all season. You've got to score when on top. Half time Ancelotti will likely sort Everton out to see this through for them now.
Administrator Stan Posted December 28, 2019 Author Administrator Posted December 28, 2019 Bad result for Villa this. Nigel Pearson doing wonders there so far...

Administrator Stan Posted December 28, 2019 Author Administrator Posted December 28, 2019 Holy shit we've changed it a lot! Didn't think it'd actually be true. Not expecting a win.
Rick Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 Rodgers taking the piss? So many changes is ridiculous, West Ham need points so they are gonna take some confidence here. Especially with that defence.
Fairy In Boots Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 Dean smith will always be remembered fondly due to promotion but it’s fairly obvious he’s out his depth here
The Artful Dodger Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 West ham are so bad you'd still back Leicester to win.
Administrator Stan Posted December 28, 2019 Author Administrator Posted December 28, 2019 Vardy out as he and Rebekah have had a baby girl this morning.
Administrator Stan Posted December 28, 2019 Author Administrator Posted December 28, 2019 Gray misses a penalty. Fabianski should have seen red for that taking out Iheanacho when he was through on goal.

Was it cynical as fuck or could he have argued he tried to play the ball?

Yeah he's gone for the ball I suppose. Just totally missed it and cleans Iheanacho out.

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 28, 2019 Subscriber Posted December 28, 2019 They only give a red and a penalty if its serious foul play I think, so like if it's a proper rugby tackle or you've punched the ball off the line as an outfielder.
