Sensible decision. Ground is probably safe but it's probably the areas around especially with debris flying around.

There was a Leicester vs Everton game several years ago where a fan died outside the ground due to debris from a roof flying around and hitting him.

Wonder if the game will be played next week?

How does that stand in your League Prediction game @Stan, a postponement I mean, do we get a point or wait until they play the game at a later time? :ay:

Yeah if it's before the end of the last game next weekend then it will stand.

City will obviously want to rearrange to avoid fixture pile up and with Champions League in mind.

But...If City do rearrange this for next week, it will seriously tarnish any comment Pep makes about a Winter break here going forward.

And the media will beat him with a stick, with it.

1-0 Rodri!

Header by the midfielder from a corner gives Man City the lead.

2-0 Man City!

De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva combine, the former runs in to the box with a drilled finish past Fabianski to make it 2-0.

Remember when all the Sky Sports and other media gammons were lining up to criticise Everton for going for Ancelotti "because he's only worked with ready made teams and he isn't the man for this job" when we could have got the "safe pair of hands that knows the club already" Moyes instead?

Yeah.

Yeah.

I also like how people would say "ah but Ancelotti's lost it... look how he's done with Napoli" - and yeah they've regressed since last year, but they literally sacked him the same day he took them out of the group stages of the CL.

Meanwhile they'd be happy to have Moyes come in... even though Moyes has very very very clearly lost it. And hasn't looked good... since leaving Everton last.

But you know it's because Moyes has more pals in the UK media. Same reason why Hodgson got all the time in the world from the media, even though his predecessor got all the flak in the world from the same journalists and pundits. Sport media is just an old boys club tbh.

Moyes is their new Allardyce now that Allardyce has pretty much managed every viable club in the league and they won't have him back. Except Allardyce had a track record at multiple clubs and Moyes really doesn't.
