Lucas Posted April 25, 2021 Share Posted April 25, 2021 Absolute gash game that. Man Utd had more of it but struggled to create. That's as pragmatic as we have been all season, we didn't go for it like usual but I do feel like we've gradually tried to change the way we go about things. That said, it was a nice clean sheet. And that's on the back of three games v City, Liverpool and United where we've picked up 5pts and remained unbeaten. Kalvin Phillips was absolutely supurb. Bruno Fernandes wasn't in the game at all. On the evidence of today, he's got to start v Croatia in the Euro's. Also we need to consider a bit of perspective too when you consider first half of the season we let in 4 v Liverpool, 3 v Chelsea, 6 v Man U etc. Heavily criticised. It was very physical but it got to a point where everything we did was a foul and they weren't getting anything called against them. Was worried that Alioski was going to be sent off. So much talk about how bad our defense is under Bielsa but I'd be curious at the stats for the second half of the season.
