That’s a massive blow to City. Fractured leg I’ve read.

Looking like it, he's off to Spain for treatment. feel for him, think this would of been his breakout season, looked really good pre season

Into the transfer market they will go. Wonder who they will go for as I'd imagine they'd have accounted for Bobb covering the loss of Alvarez.

We don't really need to replace Bobb having Doku, Savio, Foden, Bernardo, Grealish who can all play outwide, it's another striker we really need but we can manage playing a false 9 if need be

If Rodri is out for a lengthy period after the injury at the weekend then that it a huge loss for Man City given his importance to them.

The doctors are arguing about if he needs surgery or not at the minute, they waiting for the swelling to go down. best case he's out for 3mths but with City just winning the APT legal case we can spend big in January if we need too and the 115 case is going to fall apart now too. great news for Newcastle, fill your boots with sponsorship deals 🤣

Obviously you never want to see a player get that sort of injury, but Arsenal (and possibly us) have a great chance to win the title.

I think you did anyway, KDB coming to the end of his playing career getting injured a lot now Rodri out. you just need Haaland to have 6mths out and we screwed  ...really need to bring in Wirtz & Musiala next season

115 case falls apart, City will sue for hundreds of millions in damages, lost revenue and legal costs

Manchester City club statement

Manchester City has succeeded with its claim: the Associated Party Transaction (APT) rules have been found to be unlawful and the Premier League’s decisions on two specific MCFC sponsorship transactions have been set aside

-          The Tribunal found that both the original APT rules and the current, (amended) APT Rules violate UK competition law and violate the requirements of procedural fairness.

-          The Premier League was found to have abused its dominant position.

-          The Tribunal has determined both that the rules are structurally unfair and that the Premier League was specifically unfair in how it applied those rules to the Club in practice.

-          The rules were found to be discriminatory in how they operate, because they deliberately excluded shareholder loans.

-          As well as these general findings on legality, the Tribunal has set aside specific decisions of the Premier League to restate the fair market value of two transactions entered into by the Club.

-          The tribunal held that the Premier League had reached the decisions in a procedurally unfair manner.

-          The Tribunal also ruled that there was an unreasonable delay in the Premier League’s fair market value assessment of two of the Club’s sponsorship transactions, and so the Premier League breached its own rules.

This case is not directly related to the Premier League disciplinary commission which will hear 115 charges against City for allegedly breaching its financial regulations, some of which date back to 2009.

That's correct, it's not directly linked BUT ..all the charges around sponsorship are no longer valid with the rules being deemed illegal under UK law

So it has no bearing on the 115 charges? And that case hasn't fallen apart?

All the charges in the 115 case around sponsorships are no longer valid. What are you not understanding? 🤔
