All the signs and reports yesterday indicated that he was fit, so he must have picked up the injury this morning or something. Sods law I guess. What I did was check his injury status on various sites and I didn't see any reports of him being injured until Thursday, the day I had signed him. Kainz though has really been a revelation so far with a massive 23 points in the first 2 matchdays, that's more than Haaland! Out of curiosity, how much did you buy Kainz for @nudge? Lost a few players to Covid or injuries, so just sold 4 players from the starting XI and will be looking for replacements. Anyone knows how much Lewandowski costs these days? I bought Kainz for 2.8m. Always was a fan of Kainz; was thoroughly disappointed when he didn't make a breakthrough in Bremen and was sold. Last season he spent too much time injured, but was already impressing after his comeback. If he stays fit, I expect him to play a key role at Köln this season.
