nudge Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Would have probably made sense to start with Kalajdzic upfront, and then bring Arnautovic for the last 30 minutes or so. He is clearly not fully fit after recovering from that thigh injury and also overmotivated.

I think Foda should use him in the 2nd half. His height would give the italian defenders some headaches. Well on the balance of play, it's been pretty equal, so I am not sure how you came to that conclusion. Italy have had the two best chances so far, but the general play has been quite level. Austria have to improve their passing in the final third, if they get that right, they could very well sore, because they've had a lot of possession themselves. The second half should be interesting, as I expect things to open up more.

His temperament is what lets him down at times. Talent wise, he is an excellent player, but he has always had to work on his attitude and temper.
Administrator Stan Posted June 26, 2021 Author Administrator Posted June 26, 2021 How's that gone Austria's way?! And Acerbi booked?!

Arnautovic has impressed with his dribbling skills tonight, but his final ball has left a lot to be desired.

Michael Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Mancini looks like he's doing his nut on the side-lines.

ScoRoss Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 This game needs some Chiesa. Berardi hasn't been in this game much, and Italy need some width on the right hand side.

Michael Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Decent effort by Sabitzer, that deflection could have gone anywhere.
Machado Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Austria actually better now. Italy more emotional attacking and that will get worse.
