nudge Posted November 19, 2017 Posted November 19, 2017 Well done! Only 6 points away from the promotion playoff too Honestly, I didn't expect you to be doing so well, even if it's too early in the season, but great work nonetheless.
Moderator Tommy Posted November 19, 2017 Moderator Posted November 19, 2017 Fortuna was piss poor today, especially in attack. When Raman was subbed off due to injury, we were doomed. I don't understand why Funkel let Harvard Nielsen play on the attacking midfielder position, or why he brought on Lovren instead of Usami when Raman had to get subbed. Raphael Wolff was awesome again though, and things still look goood.
Moderator Tommy Posted November 25, 2017 Moderator Posted November 25, 2017 So Duisburg lost 0-4 in Regensburg? What's up with that?
Moderator Tommy Posted November 25, 2017 Moderator Posted November 25, 2017 I DEMAND ANSWERS! Na, just kidding. Still a great season for Duisburg so far.
Faithcore Posted November 25, 2017 Author Posted November 25, 2017 We were shit today. Hope it was just one of those days. Still sucks because today we could have made a huge step forward.

Moderator Tommy Posted November 27, 2017 Moderator Posted November 27, 2017 The first 10 Minutes were so unreal. Ich habe mich gefühlt, wie im falschen Film
Faithcore Posted November 28, 2017 Author Posted November 28, 2017 Da hoffe ich einmal dass ihr gewinnt und dann sowas
Faithcore Posted December 3, 2017 Author Posted December 3, 2017 The league is way too balanced this season for my liking. We already got 22 points now after 16 matches and still it's only 4 points to the relegation spot.
Moderator Tommy Posted December 5, 2017 Moderator Posted December 5, 2017 Forgot to post this yesterday: https://www.faz.net/aktuell/sport/fussball/bundesliga/union-berlin-trennt-sich-von-trainer-jens-keller-15323767.html What a strange decision. Union Berlin part ways with Jens Keller while being on 4th place in the table.
SchalkeUK Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 I have a long list of 'coaches'/'managers' who have been through the 04 system - we try and get them on the cheap and they start sort of Ok and always fail! Keller is on that list so why is it a surprise that he is again out of work? Another ex 04 guy will be next to go. Any odds on which one? Slomka seems quiet at the moment and Magrat has dug a hole and seems too quiet for his own good. the list is endless and whilst off the field Keller seemed a nice guy - on it he was like our present man - lost and out of his depth at times. A squad like ours - selected properly and with a decent set of instructions from the side should never lose to the present Koln side and it was again obvious where the problem was but it took almost the whole game to change it! When we meet the better sides (perhaps even this week) the problems will start! Tsubasa has been round long enough not to be surprised at Berlin's decision. Before someone points to the BVB result, it only happened because we started with rubbish and he was forced to change to the group which should have started the game - luckily BVB did their work in 30 minutes which gave time to sort it - changing players after 70/75 minutes is too late and we suffered last Saturday. A decent selection and we would now be second (until Gladbach) but it would have been nice!

Will be interesting what happens now, I still think that they have the best squad in the league when it comes to individual class of their players.
Moderator Tommy Posted December 11, 2017 Moderator Posted December 11, 2017 Well well well, 0:2 against Nürnberg. The downwards trend is worrying, but expected. Fortuna always flops after a good period.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 11, 2017 Subscriber Posted December 11, 2017 How unFortunate I'll leave now
Moderator Tommy Posted December 15, 2017 Moderator Posted December 15, 2017 Spitzenreiter, Spitzenreiter, hey, hey.

Only 8 points Great ending of a terrific year for us winning against Dresden today. Everything looks really good right now and i believe that we can stay up this season.

Weiter so, hehe.
Administrator Stan Posted December 18, 2017 Administrator Posted December 18, 2017 quite an even game developing between St Pauli and Bochum. The latter started off well but St Pauli now have a small foothold in the game.
Moderator Tommy Posted January 23, 2018 Moderator Posted January 23, 2018 Bochum - Duisburg 0:2. Nice. Going to be in the stadium tomorrow for Fortuna vs. Aue. Can't wait. It's been to long.
Faithcore Posted January 23, 2018 Author Posted January 23, 2018 Have fun! I just came home from Bochum. This team is just great, can't believe that we already got so many points now. Our support was nice as well.
