it followed Lewis Hamilton's comments on not wanting to talk to him because he called him an idiot in the heat of the moment.

following that other Spaniards comments I think Lewis was trying to drum up the racism stuff but Alonso didn't take that bait, simply stating this isn't the first time he has done this as Verstappen, Rosberg, Vettel, Button, Maldonado will confirm.

this isn't Alonso sticking it it is Lewis using current prevailing victimhood mentality for sympathisers.   "thankful to be alive" this from the same guy who with grosean drove over Alonso's car with Hamilton's rear wheel brushing Alonso's helmet pre halo years.

He needs to pipe it with Wolff and start working on their racing issues.

can't remember which former driver it was that said something bad and got punished for it rightly so.

he said he would have gone to Alonso but won't now after now he knows what Alonso thinks of him.   Alonso said it in the heat of the moment out of rightful frustration, a month ago his team mate tried putting him into the wall and the amount of terrible luck he has had he may have been concerned about another race going up in smoke.   Alonso didn't mean anything by it.

it's just easy to assume it so the pity party has something to talk about following yet another uninspiring Mercedes weekend.

Lewis Hamilton and Vettel need to stop the grandstanding and do what they are paid to do.

If you're on about what Alonso really think of Lewis comment by Lewis. Am sure he meant when Alonso said that he can only drive when starting from pole. I have no idea where the racism part comes from. Maybe you can provide a link?

I agree with what you say about Lewis and Vettel and their grandstanding.

You've still not stated what Hamilton is alleged to have stated that Alonso was 'racist'.

It's really not good to speculate in such a fashion. You've assumed what Hamilton thinks based on what you have said Alonso mentioned  in the past. But what exactly has Alonso said?

Alonso called him an idiot on the radio after the collision,  it was heat of the moment frustration in a intense situation.   Hamilton heard about it and said that he was going to speak with alonso but after hearing what he said and "what alonso thinks of him" he refused to speak to him.   It is petty,  most drivers in alonso's position (hamilton included) would have been very upset and vented.

Sorry, you've still not answered my question.

Where is the racism?
